So glad I got this
Super sturdy and very easy to function! Shuts tight and everything is secure. Only thing I will say as a precaution, it doesn’t open quietly. It pops and can hear the motor upon opening. But we are good with cause we know it will do what it’s supposed to do.

Really love this. I was skeptical when ordering but may order another one now. Takes a minute to figure out the rfid but works perfect now.

Good product but noisy
It is easy to program, seems well made except the lining that was unstuck and curled when I opened it for the first time. You can turn off the key tones easily, BUT, and it's a big BUT, the sound of the mechanism when it is opened is going to give away your position if you need to open it in the middle of the night. This could be a big deal.

Access where and when you need it
This operates on 4 AA batteries. (Not included.) It comes with 2 RFID tokens: one for a watch band and another with an adhesive pad for attaching to a phone. The safe will remember up to 5 RFIDs so, if you have multiple safes, you can program each of them to remember the ones on your watch and your phone, which leaves additional tokens for other members of the household, or as a backup, should the original ones get lost or damaged. It is easy to program the code used on the quad keypad so the safe can be opened without the RFID. If you lose your RFID tokens and you can't remember the code, there are also keys to open the safe, which will also be needed if the batteries die - so don't lose them.

Thought I would give this a try. It doesn't. It is a hornady and expected a lot. Biggest issue is you can take a hatchet and open it in 5 seconds. With a $3pry bar maybe 10 seconds. Buttons feel cheap and the RFID feature is nice and probably better than a finger reader but if you really need to get your gun quickly under stress, your going to use the buttons. The other big issue is that burglar is just going to lift it up and walk out with it unless you bolt it to a surface. Perhaps you will but I don't have a place for that. No airplane cable is provided and no way to attach one. I sent this back.

Easy to bolt into my vehicles so I can safely lock up my CCW to be CA compliant when needed.
