I gave this to my grandchildren who are 5 and 3. Quickly I realized that assembly of it was way to difficult for them to complete. It was even a challenge for me. The parts are small and the design is not very sturdy. I don't recommend this for young children unless there is an adult to put it together.

The vast majority of marble run building block sets are size for Duplo size blocks. These are NOT. These are sized for standard LEGO. Duplo use "marbles" that are roughly 1" diameter or more(and hollow plastic usually), the more common size of marbles is usually around 8/16" or 10/16"(marble sizes are allowed to vary dramatically, but this is what I'm used to seeing in other kinds of Marble Run playsets).The "marbles" in this set are about 4/16" to 6/16" making them mostly incompatible with the larger sets.Once you get over that surprise, this is a quite good set. The number of pieces is shown, and is accurate. The box it comes in is only a couple of inches big, but tightly packed with all the parts advertised, and for the price is quite competitive. If you want to expand a LEGO collection, order several of these sets. The colors are vibrant and treating this as just a bulk LEGO purchase I am quite content. The not quite thirty pieces that are intended as Marble run slides are a neat bonus and may help a child who is too old for Duplo but still young enough they like Marble Run creativity and the physics of motion and gravity those explore.Again, this set is small, don't be surprised by that and set your expectations at a 10$ LEGO set level.

Was not expecting it to be so small!! Plastic piece broke off as well. Should've been a $7-$8 set not $15!

My husband took almost an hour to put together. The instructions were really hard to follow, and had too many extra parts that we still have no idea what the black handle thing is supposed to do? Then all the time it took to put together and my 3 year old barely touching it knocked things over to where interest was lost. And the cool marble run to watch/do was gone. Horrible for a young child!

This product is way too small and very difficult to assemble. It is smaller than regular legos & Definitely not for a three year old . I would not recommend purchasing.
