This will save your fingers.
For what you getting it seems a little pricey. The concept is pretty cool and it's very versatile. Pretty easy to use and definitely protect your fingers and keeps things steady when you're trying to thread a hook . When you take a look at how the hinge works I have a feeling if you use these a lot the hinge will eventually wear out and break. It is a clever little Gadget. Not really sure how useful the clip is.

I love this safe and effective knot tying tool. Also covers the hook as advertised and clips on for travel to prevent snags in the car or to the kids, pet, boat etc... Comes in a pack of two so you can gift one to a friend or keep a spare in another box or on another pole like I do.
