In your world? I am not so sure. However, for most other living objects here on Earth, within a mile or so of sealevel, it is light blue.

Q: Is there a place for a hydration system?

So far I love the bag. As far as a pocket for a hydration system, it has a flat pocket in the back of the center large compartment. It is the width of the of the back of the pack and about 2/3 rds of the length. It is not specifically design for a hydration system but I am sure it would work if it was one of those flatter rectangular water pouches.

This backpack is slightly bigger than a traditional school bag.

Q: Im backpacking Europe this year for 3 weeks, and im wondering if this is big enough?

This person isn’t carrying food and water for 3 weeks in Europe, they are backpacking Europe. Yes, is it big enough. I backpacked Peru with a 40L bag and then immediately traded it for a 25L after the trip. 25L is much easier to carry on an airplane and will truly hold everything you need to backpack with camping, traveling, or otherwise. I did 2 weeks in Europe with the 25L a few years ago and it was great.
