M-AUDIO BX5 Single 5" Studio Monitor Speaker for Music Production and Mixing with Acoustic Space Control, 2 Way Active Speaker

I use them as studio monitors for music production and recording. They sound great even without a Separate sub woofer. Plenty low end for my purposes. Clean sound, easy to set up and flexible connectivity.

I bought 2 of these when I was building a small home studio in my bedroom and these monitors are perfect. I like the fact that you can adjust the bass response and have volume control on the speakers. They're very easy to set up and are ready to go straight out of the box.

I’ve been mixing through M-Audio BX-5’s since 2009. They are very flat with no bass exaggeration. They have allowed me to consistently nail bass and kick EQ’s for well over a decade. They keep getting better every generation with this newest model being no exception. I absolutely trust them. They are very good looking and bring plenty of volume for any genre., the idea here isn’t to be mega loud but to be very accurate. BX-5’s aren’t the most powerful monitors and I seem to go through a set every 3 years or so. But for the price, who cares? I’m mixing stuff that blows away stuff that guys are mixing on speakers that cost thousands more

Good quality

Sounds great, don't leave them on for too long without using them they will get hot, you don't want that.

Work well, great audio clarity. The manual tells you how to best set them up. Gives clarity for playing with sounds in a DAW. Also good general-purpose speaker IMO for anime like Hajimeno Ippo as well as intimate ASMR.

If you have one of those Utilitarian Entrepreneurial Studio/Offices like mine... You dabble in Podcast, Gaming, Video, Editing, Music... And in between is your ESCAPE ROOM... These Monitors are amazing. When I need to hear a flat signal to make sure my mix is right, they deliver. When I need power, quality bass they more than deliver. And I was totally amazed at the value for the money for a Pro-Level sound. Thanks for the amazing engineering at such a good price.

Soy ingeniero y he comprado muchos monitores a lo largo de los años. Compré estos monitores porque estaban baratos para una estación para editar video. No esperaba mucho por el precio pero me sorprendieron por la calidad y la potencia. Obvio con un woofer de 5 pulgadas no se pueden esperar muchos graves pero aún así es mejor de lo que esperaba. Sí los recomiendo para alguien que está empezando o para un home studio de producción (no de mezcla o mastering).

Hello i have problem with 2 speakers not working and no sound i don't now why this hapen

An amazing sounding accurate sound scape, with a wide range and suitable low frequency reach for general referencing as a bedroom studio. They have a very nice smooth aesthetic, but also discreet enough to blend into my setup. The tweeters being pushed back in slightly is a welcome change to its previous model, for protection. Having to replace an aged set of BX5 D2, in comparison these have a slight edge of clarity to them, and a small power boost to boot, however this comes with the unfortunate increase in its noise floor. I use them as near field, however would be better suited as mid field, which would counter the noticeable noise floor when powered on and idle.
