Morphy Richards 6.5L Sear and Stew Slow Cooker, Dishwasher Proof Non Stick Aluminum Pot, Cool Touch Handles, Matte Black and Rose Gold, 461016

I replaced my previous Morphy Richards with this one as the ceramic bowl cracked - after 10 years of continual use, and it was totally my fault because I filled it with ice cold water straight after cooking in it for hours.I was so disappointed to realise that this new model does not have a ceramic bowl but a metal one. Despite repeated attempts to contact Morphy Richards they refused to tell me what the "non stick" coating was made of, or what "metal" the bowl is made of, so I still do not know and to be honest am hesitant to use it as I cannot determine whether or not it is safe to use.

Das Gerät schaut schick aus, das erste Gericht (Rinderrouladen) ist auch sehr gut gelungen. In der Stufe high köchelt das Gargut aber merklich. Ich bin schon gespannt, wie die nächsten Gerichte schmecken. Ich als slow cooker Neuling habe mir dieses relativ günstige Gerät zum Einstieg gegönnt. Was auffällt, ist eine ungünstig platzierte Naht am Deckel, die bereits nach der ersten Nutzung trotz sehr schonendem Gebrauch zum Abrieb der Antihaftbeschichtung an der Deckelauflage geführt hat. Insgesamt wirkt die Antihaftbeschichtung sehr empfindlich.

Der slow cooker funktioniert einwandfrei. Allerdings hat der Topf diverse Macken und eine Stelle, wo die Beschichtung abgeplatzt ist. Letzteres ist zum Glück sehr weit oben, sodass der Garbereich nicht betroffen ist. Weiter ist der Griff am Deckel bereits nach dem Auspacken derart locker gewesen, dass der Deckel frei dreht, wenn man ihn am Griff hochhebt.Ich kann nicht beurteilen, ob hier ein grundsätzliches Qualitätsproblem seitens des Herstellers vorliegt oder ob mir hier gebrauchte Ware zugestellt wurde. Dennoch sind solche Sachen einfach ärgerlich. Ergo nur 3 Sterne.

Guter slowcooker, bin total zufrieden!
