Hello Neeks The material of the pillowcase is pure silk, and satin is our craftsmanship for making pillowcases, which has nothing to do with the fabric. We try our best to provide our customers with the best fabrics and craftsmanship.

This silk content is at least 80% or more, you can look at the shop. Another more expensive one is 100% silk content.

Q: What is this pillow case made out of? The seller states it's at least 80% silk. What is the other 20% of this material made out of?

Mine were not pure silk, feels like polyester. I have several other silk pillowcases and have checked with the thread test on all of them to make sure it burns like real silk. This one is the only one out of all I’ve ordered that isn’t real. Spend $10 more and get the real silk.
