Lumbar Support Pad Replacement for Herman Miller Classic Aeron Chair - Size C: Large, Black

Decided to trust the positive reviews since there aren’t a lot of inexpensive choices for replacement lumbar pads for the original Aeron. The original factory version started failing after just a few years, and I limped along using duct tape to seal the tear in the foam for quite a few years. Install of this replacement was simple and quick. Have been using for a couple months now and no issues. Even if I only get a couple years out of it, it’s still worth it given the low cost and ease of install. And yes, the support is sooooo much bettter now! Definitely worth a try.

it's a great product at a fraction of the cost of OEM. it does have the tendency to slip a little on the frame, so i just make it a habit to push it down about an inch every other monday morning before it sit in the chair. if it goes 1-3/4" it can actually pop off one of the frame rails (not a big deal, but can be an annoyance to have to pick it up and re-mount it.if it stayed locked in place, it would be a 5-star review

The back rest keeps falling off when you lean in. The only time it stays if you position it lowest part of the chair (meaning no back support )

Not the official support and the attachments are weak and it falls off the chair frequently

Easy to install make sure to get the correct size I ordered mine twice because I picked the wrong one the first time

Lumbar support is back in place.I assume that will change over time as it gets more broken in. Otherwise, it's super! The real trick for me was discovering where to find "the dots" to determine the size of the chair
