Perceptual ability is the first section. I really appreciated seeing this since it is the hardest to master! Def feel more equipped now. I also like the video links throughout the book to help with studying. Let’s see how it goes now!

Book came in great condition. Has one practice exam with answers in the back. This book would work best for you if want explanation of every section in the DAT and how to ace it, given tricks and videos.

This book has good test taking tips, but it is riddled with errors. I found myself rereading paragraphs trying to have them make sense and then having to use Google to make sense of everything. One statement would completely contradict what was said after, like someone was not paying attention while typing and wrote “decrease” instead of “increase” or “higher” instead of “lower” in important biology and chemistry sections. If you do not catch the mistakes, you would learn the information completely wrong.ALSO. In the perceptual ability section, the shapes are barely filled in. The ink is so light that I had to go and trace what I could see just to try to get the questions right. I get that it’s cheaper than other options, but it would be worth it to buy a more expensive alternative.

The practice exams questions were not indicative of what the DAT would ask. These questions range from being too easy to complicated. Additionally, why did the authors mix organic chemistry questions in the general chemistry section?
