Good lens, very clear view of the puddle

The lenses are very (!) dark and can be used to view the Sun during the day. They should be safe for viewing a complete solar eclipse.

Good lense. Fits my hood well and does what it's supposed to.

Shade 6 lenses are generally too light for arc welding, and too dark for gas cutting, so they're difficult to find. I use this lens (with a hood) for plasma cutting: it's dark enough that I don't get arc flash, but light enough that I can see what I'm doing before pulling the trigger (in a well-lit garage.)
