HAVE BEEN ON THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH IT. AM 72 YRS YOUNG AND HAVE RA. ONE YEAR AGO I STOPPED TAKING ALL RHEUMATOLOGY PRESCRIBED RA MEDS BECAUSE OF SIDE EFFECTS( I WAS TAKING MAXIMUM DOSE OF METHOTREXATE EVERY WEEK AND HUMIRA INJECTION EVERY 2 WEEKS) AND DECIDED TO GO THE NATURAL ROUTE. I've been taking this for a little over a month. I have diabetes and was unable to take metformin because it made me so sick so I started looking for natural alternatives. For almost two months I have been eating low carb high fat, taking this berberine 2 x daily along with milk thistle, and incorporated walking daily into my routine. With doing all three my blood glucose average has dropped from 250 to 130. I still have some work and time I need to invest to get it in the "normal" range but I feel amazing and have noticed all the inflammation slowly leaving my body. If you try this don't be disappointed if you don't see immediate results. As with all things it takes time for damage to occur and it takes time to recover from said damage as well. I use this "Pure Berberine Complex - 600mg Per Capsule Berberine HCl Supplement - 60 Vegetarian Capsules" By Divine Bounty to replace Metformin in treating Diabetes Type 2. It works for me but this is no guarantee that it will work for you. However, in addition to a low-carbohydrate diet and lots of exercises. Seems to be helping me (personal opinion) with the sugar cravings in that I don't seem to have them so much so this is a win-win for me. I have managed to get off both Metformin and Insulin and replace them with Berberine. Very impressed with this health product.It is certainly helping to sort out my health issues which are quite complicated, and I am very pleased with the progress that I have made in the last month and still improving.one of my specialist's called it dramatic! I've been prediabetic for a long long time. What does this mean? Well for me bad eating habits, being hungry an hour after I eat, inability to lose weight, etc. Since I am not yet diabetic they won't put me on Metformin so I went looking for an herbal alternative and found this. Take a pill 3 times a day and after a week I started feeling better. Lost energy returned and I found I was able to be much more active, the swelling in my joints went away and although I don't know what my blood sugar is currently, I can tell it's not bouncing around like it was. My weight would swing 10 lbs up or down depending on water weight gain and constipation, now my weight became constant and I'm not thirsty all the time. My eating habits have changed as well, now I get fuller faster and stay full for hours. My weight is slowly coming down, I've lost 6lbs since I started taking this. If you're insulin resistant, pre diabetic, etc you really need to give this stuff a try.
