Convenient and consistent developing
I do a fair amount of C-41 developing at home. 10-20 rolls per month. I use this in conjunction with the AGO film processor and a sous vide hot water bath to keep my chems up proper temps. I do find that heating the chems to 104-106F helps as the temp drops to 102F rather quickly in my paterson tank as measured by the AGO. I tried another powder C-41 develpor, Arista, and it also worked well, but he instructions took a bit more deciphering than the Cinestill. So going forward I decided to just stick with this as I know how it works and the results are great. If I do find a review that another developer yields better results I may switch, but I cannot imagine how much better that would be as this is fine for my purposes.

Not what I ordered
I ordered the powder version of Cinestill CS41 and instead I received the liquid version. Cinestill products are awesome and my rating has nothing to do with Cinestill but the seller.

Great quality as usual from CineStill
I have used multiple C-41 kits (Arista, Unicolor, Cinestill) across both 120 and 135(35mm) formats and as far as powered kits go this two-bath kit from Cinestill seems to be the best. Mixes quite well and easily as long as you follow the instructions. Modern films generally have no need for a stabilizer bath although if it was included with this kit I would still use it. However, I have encountered no short terms issues/complaints from not using the stabilizer. I've included a random selection of photos developed over time using this particular kit. Images are a combination of Portra 400/160 and Ektar 100.

Box was falling apart
Recieved the liquid version of this kit which is fine, I dont really care as long as it gets the job done. But the box it arrived in is literally falling apart. When I opened the package (the box was in a amazon bag) everything came crashing out onto my floor and I was super worried it was gonna break open and spill. All was fine thankfully but geez would like for the box not to disintegrate

Do not buy this - USELESS and completely mis-advertised product
Cinestill's CS-41 development kit is an industry standard and a great product. However, this product here is complete rubbish. Check for Amazon product code B08HS657C4 and do NOT buy this. It's a single plastic bag, very light weight, with zero - and I mean - zero components of the development kit. Absolutely disgraceful to mis-advertise it. Do NOT buy this product.
