My son just loves these books. We have read every book. We read together every night, and he has just loved this series.

I've read these books over 20 times and each time they get better! This series is a fantasy series about a society where you can't imagine or draw or you'll be sentenced to death, until the main character Alex finds this magical land where they can imagine and draw without being sentenced to death.

My 10 year old so absolutely loves to read and these books were recommended by a friend. We struggle to find enough books to keep him entertained, so I was happy that this series was available. He loves the stories! Some parts have been a bit scary for him, but he can be a little sensitive to things like that, so he just reads on and gets past the scary parts. I am so happy we bought these books! Update...I have started reading these with my daughter and we can't get enough! These might be the best books I have ever read. I love the story and am totally invested in the characters. We are on book 3 and I'm thrilled that there are so many. Now, they just need to make a movie out of these.

We love the books.the only problem is our set came with 2 book 5 and no book 6
