3rd year using this product
This is my 3rd year using this bullet journal! Each has held up well, they have to because I take them everywhere with me. They are pretty worn by the end of the year but still holding together strong! I'll keep using these journals for as long as I live.

I love it
There is a little bleed through if you use heavier ink pens (I use the Ink Joy Gen .7), but I love the journal. It is a great size, there are already page numbers on the pages, and a page for an index. It has more than enough pages to fit my whole year.

You Just Can't Go Wrong With a Leuchtturm
I ordered the A5 dotted notebook in Pacific Green, which is a lovely color and impeccable craftsmanship as usual. There are other notebooks I've used for bullet journaling but I find that I come back to the Leuchtturm 1917 over and over again. If you're looking to get into bullet journaling you really can't go wrong here.

Great Notebook, but not THE BEST notebook
I'm addicted to stationery. Pens, paper, markers, pencils, stickers, notepads. All of it. I've tried a whole bunch. The LEUCHTTURM1917 is a great notebook, no doubt. The paper is smooth and ink dries quickly on it. The pages are numbered, curved at the corner (this keeps the notebook from ending up with tiny, non-intentional dog ears from use). The dot grid is light enough to not get in the way of your writing or sketching or Bullet Journal designs (if you're into the the BJ inspo out there. I used to be.)For the price, you can't really do better. There not much bleeding (unless you're using Sharpie or any other alcohol-based marker -- forget about those), but there is a hell of a lot of ghosting, and that drives me a little bonkers. 80gsm will do that. If you want less ghosting, look for books with over 120gsm.But for your every day journaler, this will do.

Beautiful Notebooks, but need to improve the quality control
I like how beautiful and sturdy these notebooks are. I buy a new one every 6 months. However, the last one I bought had some pages glued together. Also, the ink of the square grid was a bit too dark, so it was hard to distinguish the pencil writing on top of them. Please fix these issues because I love your notebooks and plan to continue buying them.

It's a beautiful notebook
These notebooks are great. I dont know why, but between the softcover and hardcover, but the softcover has slightly worse paper. The binding on both the books are excellent and it can take a beating, but dont leave it in a very hot place or direct sunlight because they will warp. The warping could only be the hardcover though. I love these notebooks and for the price its well worth it. Everytime i buy one i just want to fill it up and end up using them in about a month, but that also depends on how much i write. Usually i get about 3 month of journaling everyday. The notebook has beautiful paper and is very fountain friendly. The fountain pen ink sheens and you can see the shine of the glitter inks. I love this notebook, but i love the midori md notebooks more and they are half the price with higher quality paper. This notebook is great for project planning and i mainly use it for journaling my thoughts. The unlinked version i use for notes about everything. Get this notebook you wont be disappointed and tey the midori md notebook to just make sure to buy a cover for it.

Great, except for bookmark ribbons
Excellent, but I didn't give it 5 stars because the ribbon bookmarks are poorly attached and fall out.

Overall, Wonderful. Thin Paper
Overall, the quality of this book is amazing. Leuchttrum 1917s are almost always my go to for my bullet journals and book journals. When I opened this one though, I realized the paper seemed thinner than usual.I'm not one to return items, even if I don't like them so I told myself I'll just deal with it, and while I can, the ghosting is INSANE. The bleed through isn't bad at all, but I can see what I've drawn on the opposite side of each page. I haven't had this issue with my previous Leuchttrums, so I'm not sure if it's just this edition, or what.

Over-rated, cheap, thin paper, never again.
So many people rave about these I wanted to try one for my next bullet journal. Instead of feeling excited like I did for my last Nuuma, and for my previous Dingbats notebooks, in this case I just feel like I've been robbed. The paper is all but transparent. This is the kind of paper you get in a notebook from the supermarket for less than half the price. Appalling. There are so many better options out there, don't waste your money. The layout is lovely, the cover is bright and makes you want to write in it, but effectively you only have half the pages to work with since even BIRO shows right through the page. I am incredibly disappointed. To those who write such glowing reviews about such a cheap and over-rated product, shame on you.Pics are of pen swatch page, and the ghosting from my journal page using PENCIL for the title (even that ghosts) and biro.UPDATE: I recently bought another of these because I so so so want these beautiful notebooks to be good. Sadly my new notebook is still awful paper quality, and, as if to add insult to injury, the dots are printed too far up the page. There is a large white bar at the bottom where the dots begin too far up the page, and then the top line of dots are almost clipped off the page. It looks so cheap and tacky inside. This is was definitely the last chance I give these notebooks. I won't be wasting my money on a Leuchtturm again. The paper quality in a Pukka pad is FAR better (still 80gsm) than these notebooks. Do yourself a favour and just get a nice cover for one of those. They're £4 in Sainsburys.Don't believe the good reviews, clearly those people have VERY low standards, and are blinded by a brand, probably because it's been endorsed by so many bullet journal influencers. They should also be ashamed of themselves.

Doch was heißt schlechtes Papier genau?1.

Paper is way too thin
Great looking journal and has nice features but I can even see pencil through the paper, I thought buying an expensive journal would guarantee the quality but this is awful. Biro seen straight through the thin pages. So disappointed.

Terrible paper quality
This is the second Leuchtturm A5 notebook I've bought (I got the first one a couple of years ago). The quality of the paper has deteriorated quite dramatically. My Schmidt p8127 feathers terribly on this new notebook, where it wrote beautifully on the previous one. The paper also looks and feels different - far more coarse than the old version. Terribly disappointing.

Not the same quality as before. Disappointed
I've been using this notebook for the past couple of years, and this one, although it looks the same by the cover, is not the same quality. First, when I touched through the pages, I felt that it was less smooth and flimsier, and made me feel like I should not try and just return it. Sure enough, when I started writing with the same fountain pen and ink I've been using, it is scratchier and not smooth at all. Something in their paper formula has changed. Very disappointed to spend this amount of money for a notebook and receive a mediocre quality paper. I already wrote on it, so, I cannot return it either.[Update] I came back home to compare the pages from my previous notebook and this one. And, my assessment was correct. The pages are much less smoother and thinner. I don't know if I received a genuine product or a fake.
