Excellent look, excellent feel
Daughter and I love to cook together and I figured it was time to get her some quality knives. Henckels offers great quality at a nice price and they feel great in your hands. Sharp looking and razor sharp right out of the box. Not only are the knives sharp looking but so is the storage block. Great addition to our kitchen!

One of the best purchases ever made.
I love this knife set. I bought the silver and black set and it is beautifully made. Bargain for the price, actually. One of the few purchases that, if you are able to, you should splurge on.

Really sharp knife set.
This knife set was so sharp the first month or so I cut myself 3-4 times as I wasn't use to a knife set that sharp.

Top Knotch
These knives have been on my wishlist for a long time. I received them and they didn’t disappoint. The sturdiness and the design are perfect. Feel good in your hands and they cut like non other. I would definitely recommend.

I like them.
So after about a month of having these there are little rust spots that form on them. I’m not a huge knife guy so I don’t know if that is normal or not. It is just more of a surface/color rust. If you use the sharpener regularly it’ll take care of any issues. The overall knives are nice, look good and are very sharp. My buddy who owns a catering company said they should be hand washed only to avoid the surface rust. The heat dry on your dishwasher can cause the rust spots.

Rusting Henckles Knife Set
The knife set looks nice and the knives are comfortable in your hand, however, the blades are rusting after only two months. (Purchased end of April 2024). I'm very careful with my knives - hand washing them and drying them right away which leads me to believe that the quality of the stainless steel is poor. Out of curiosity, I tried holding a magnet to the blades and they stuck tight. My expectation was that these knives were crafted in Germany (as seemed to be advertised) but in fact they are stamped "made in China". As such, I would NOT recommend these knives. I'm very disappointed.
