I changed my mind on these.
Originally I did not like this when setup with a clone Arduino Nano. I setup all over again with an ESP-32S Wroom and had no issues at all. worked as expected. Not sure why the clone Arduino let me down but everything was backwards on the pwm. 0 was full speed and 255 was all stop. No matter what I did , i got the same results and output was not what I expected either, it was much slower than with the ESP-32S wroom. I tried with 3-4 of the arduino clones, same issue. So I switched to the ESP-32S which works better with my encoders anyway.

Works as expected but missing heat compound for better cooling
Works as documented. My only issue is that there is no heat compound between the driver and the heat sink! I recommened adding some, the controller will last way longer that way

The price is right, I needed 4, got a spare
I build many robots. Lately I have depleted my stock of these. I just realized that I could use these more efficiently using PWM with my Raspberry Pi based robots instead of just the ENA/ENB tied to 5V. Now I can control speed

Great bargain for hobbyists
So this is a basic sort of breakout for the trusty old l298 motor driver. Very simple, very reliable. Dual motor support per board, so 10 fully analog motors can be controlled for cheap. Pair with an encoder gear motor and you have the makings of a solid motor control project.

Great! but
One of them stopped working after I left it connected for like 3 months to a project. Probably MY fault it got a little dusty and I probably shorted it or something trying to wire it again.Great buy though!! 👍🏼

Excellent value for robotics or other hobby projects where you might want to use the yellow 6V TT motors that are so common.

Very good High Power Motor Control
Very nice boards. Made well and has a very good design, easy to install and control either with or without an Arduino. .Control rotation with a simple DPDT switch, control speed with a 555 timer through the enable on-off input. Or, use the power of control of an Arduino. All in all a very well built circuit. Circuit is semiconductor so it is not a total "Brick", i.e. it can be burned out if mistreated. .

Cheap driver
These drivers works pretty well for general purposes and are so cheap,

Seems ok although badly packaged
Only tried 1 so far but worked fine so hopefully others will too. There was no individual packaging for each module and all were just thrown into a plastic box, resulting in scratched heat sinks and boards. Other than the cosmetic damage, which will hopefully not affect functionality, fortunately other than a couple of slightly bent pins the components look ok but have not tested all modules yet.So far would recommend these modules but not this specific pack as due to poor packaging they could easily be damaged on arrival. Perhaps go for same modules but different brand/seller (the modules themselves are pretty much the same).

All working and good for the price
I bought these for use with Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects that I will get around to soon. They came in a plastic box which I liked however they were not in antistatic packaging, slightly disappointing. One of them had faulty screw terminal, the tiny part inside which clamps the wire was missing on one of them, a production error rather than a fault of the seller. This didn't bother me as I had some spare connectors and just soldered another on in its place and not worth returning for.All the driver boards worked without fault at the first attempt. How durable they are I cannot state.I'm happy with my purchase.

Blow up Much?
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Pack of 5 all blew up. Replaced with L298N from an old working project and no problems. These are rubbish don't buy.....
