Pricey, but worth it!
Yes, it's pricey, but other hobbies can be even more expensive! Snow skiing? When cycling is your sport, this makes total sense. It seriously flattens out the "bumps in the road" and makes for a better ride. We bought two, one each for husband and wife, then put in150 miles over 4 days. It's a back saver and makes cycling more enjoyable. The main reason we chose the Kinect is because by using springs it's totally adjustable to fit your weight. No elastomers that aren't, other than trying a different one. Great biking accessory. Highly recommended. Keep on biking!

Smooth and comfortable ride
Great product. It does what it supposed to do. Smooth out the road and able to keep rider on the saddle as much as possible, resulting in increased control and comfort. Swapping out the seat post was easy. Only problem was my original seat post has a hole for an electrical wire to go through which powers the tail light located at the rear of the saddle. Unfortunately the Kinekt seat post does not support this set up and I have to disconnect the tail light. Still trying to find a way to bring the wire out of the frame and reconnect the tail light.

Instructions suck for the new CR
I am assuming they recently updated the design of the CR or maybe it’s alway been designed differently than the LR/XR, I’m not sure but I also don’t really care. The bottom line is the instructions that come with the CR are total crap and don’t even resemble the design of my CR. The CR I received requires you to physically slide out the lower left link before you “gently pull the pre-load bolt straight down to release” but it doesn’t say that anywhere. So what happens is you press it down until the lower left link abruptly pops out causing the bolts threads to be damaged. Now I’m assuming the bolt will fail on me sometime after my return window has lapsed. Perfect.

Expensive but would buy again no regrets.
Definitely helps I may have to go with a heavier spring since weighing 190/195 I purchased the 150-200 lbs post and max out on some bumps. Put it on a more of an comfort style ebike so more weight is transferred to the seat.

Absolutely love my new seat post, takes the ride to a whole new level. Your back and neck will never ache again, even after 20 miles, best choice I’ve made yet!
