I got this a few months ago, just got to playing around with it- so I am past the return date. Using the remote, I could not find a way to tell if it was actually responding to the remote when taking video. It will make a noise when you take a picture. I also DID NOT receive two batteries, only one. Can't find information on getting extra batteries, either. Can't figure out why they wouldn't have a sound when it starts or stops video recording..seems a no-brainer. EDIT: I decided to forgive the missing battery. The lack of notification when recording and stopping video is forgivable given how well this unit performs. I do get frustrated that there is no sound while in the case, so I got an extra waterproof case for the protection and drilled a hole over the mic for when I am not going to get it wet. I have used this fly fishing, creek fishing, and sailing. It performs very well in all cases, no freeze-ups, quick start up, and very long battery life. I used it day before yesterday strapped to my chest while kayak fishing. It was on from 4 PM until 7:30 pm in standby and record mode. Mostly record mode. It finally ran out of battery after I got home and I was using it to view the videos..Also, the batteries are a standard size, and can be bought 3 and a charger for 14 bucks. I just ordered two more to add angles to our high wind sailing videos. I will just mount them and turn them to record and forget them for 3 hours. Edit the video later. 20X less than a GoPro..usable video, decent software.. the only week point so far is the battery door. It is hard to take off and the little plastic tabs are very likely to break. However, one piece of gorilla tape will suffice if that happens to hold the battery in and that does not bother me at all. My work around for not knowing if it is recording video for sure is to hit the remote button for taking a picture. If it does not make a shutter noise (albiet a very LOW noise) I know it is recording video.Only clean the lens with soft cotton, and on the waterproof case only use very soft cotton with a buffer like windex to avoid scratching. I abuse my equipment, so I am sure I will end up buying more cases. As well, buy yourself some extra base mounts for use without the waterproof case if you don't need it. My first one came with none, but the two I just ordered showed these mounts have perhaps been added. That would be good. Forget the 4K feature on some of these cameras.. It is a lot of data and you won't get to appreciate it anyway as 99% of TV's, ect. can't display that rez anyway.

This is a great camera for the price and plus having a remote!!. The wifi option is very easy to use and connects to the app without any lag. I use iphone and was able to find & download the app without any issues. However, i strongly suggest you don't change the default camera settings mainly quality, HD etc because when i found it had 4k option i was tempted to try it (because the product says only 1080p) and also increased the quality to 20 megapixel (default is 2 which works perfectly). Which I later realized i shouldn't have done because after this change the camera would now click only in VGA mode with very low quality like image size of 100-200kb where i expected in MB. I tried to reset to factory and even changed options back several times but in vain. So i came to the conclusion that its a software bug which is not resetting the quality properly. By this time my return window was closed but i still thought of reporting the issue to the seller Qipexeii with low hope of any response. To my amazement not only did the seller respond immediately within hours but also gladly offered to send a new one without any cost!!! Now with such customer service i would recommend this product to everyone without any doubt.

I purchased this as an upgrade from a two year old SJCAM that finally started giving me issues.I looked through all the menus and the booklet and saw no option to do 720P at 60 or 120FPS. I didn't take the time to research this properly and now this camera is becoming a permanent dashcam instead of what I intended to use it for.Just wanted to make other buyers aware of this, since at least 60FPS is claimed in the description.

This is a pretty decent kit. Pictures and video are pretty good. A gift for my son and he loves it. Have not tried it in water yet, so can not attest to the water tight case. Great price for a gift for a younger person. I have a GoPro as well and the mounting hardware looks like it is the same. The case is great!

Good camera for the price. Case included numerous attachment devices, most of which I won't use. Takes decent pictures. No zoom. Close up underwater pictures are clear, but if water is murky, of course, pictures are not so clear, but that's not camera fault. Instructions for assembly are not at all clear and deciphering the pictures that show how to install attachment devices require some imagination. I could not figure out how to attach anything that I could hold onto while underwater. I finally used a velcro wrist strap and a short length of wire, both of which are included in the kit. If you don't have a micro SD card, make sure you purchase that. Good camera for the price and I'm glad I didn't spend hundreds more for the popular name brand.

Product arrived quickly and I'm super happy with the purchase so far. However, the zipper on the case is broken so the case is unless to me. Anyone else have that issue?

I was a little hesitant buying a $49. knock off, but it has worked perfectly! I'm very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it!

It has so many attachments, you can pretty much mount this camera on anything. Haven't uploaded a video from it yet, but looking at the videos on it, it all look great so far!
