The Fallout [DVD]

This movie is rare and real. I was uncomfortable watching it from the start but couldn`t stop. It teaches many overlooked things! The aftermath of events and how youth can be affected.

Really touching and moving. The first REAL movie I have seen in years!

It was ok

I think this film walked a very fine line when it came to mass shooting at a school and the survivors. The main protagonist, Vada, is the person we are following as she copes with the confluence of events when in six minutes her life of relative innocence (one could say), is interrupted by the shooter who kills several classmates and, she hides out in the bathroom with two others. From this, she forges new bonds to deal with the tide of her emotions as she recovers and strengthens from what took place.While one of her friends does engage politically, politics is barely mentioned in the movie otherwise. It's not really the point. It focuses on survivor reactions and emotions. PTSD. Taking drugs to cope with going back to school, which has bizarre consequences. Drinking. Some sexual experimentation. Just impulsive behaviors. If you want to watch a movie about a mass shooting that isn't political, this is the one.

This movie had me thinking about what the kids went through afterwards. It’s awful to think kids aren’t safe anywhere.

an exciting part was when the school shooter came onto campus, but after the event, it was bland and didn't have a part anymore.

I had been wanting to watch this movie and was waiting until it maybe came up free, but it never did so i decided to buy it. it was a great movie. i definitely recommend anyone interested, buy it, watch it...its worth every cent!
