Excellent quality. The cable is strong and wrapped in a tight string. I made my own moon light and was able to hang it directly from the cable. It looks minimalistic and I love it.

These lights are fabulous. I had an old, totally unsafe sconce near my bed that needed to be taken out (that explains the huge patched area in progress in my pic). Anyway, I wanted two lights on either side for reading and didn’t want to actually wire for them. These were super affordable, simple and gorgeous. I love that I can move them around at will or switch the look with different decorative bulbs. The sleek look is a great pop of fun in this old historic house. My only issue is really minor. I don’t love how close the switch is to the actual plug. Wish there was more slack. You have to have a plug very nearby or you’ll need an extension cord. Otherwise, you can’t reach the switch.Overall though, fabulous buy. I’ll probably order the teal color for another room.

Much nicer than expected! The canopy is a good size and will cover a standard hole. The cord looks like an old-fashioned cloth covered cord. The whole thing is sturdy. One reviewer said it was not matte black and looked cheap and silvery. Not at all true. I don't know what happened with that person's order, but the one I got is very nice and doesn't look cheap at all. It's matte black. Solid black. As for the cord not being straight, it is shipped coiled, so of course it's going to be a little bent in places. Just unbend it. It's wire. It's not going to look like a pole, but it's fine. I'm using it to hang a fixture that has some weight, so it will straighten out more over time. The cord is long enough to give you options, too. Very good buy and great price. I may purchase another one just to have it on hand in case I want to make another pendant light.

Docking this one star since I needed to exchange the first one I received which had a broken switch. I read a few other reviews where it mentioned the plug part being a little fragile. In my experience, this has not been the case. I really like the fabric chord which feels high quality.

Super cute and really changes a room

I do a lot of portraiture photography and one day i came across on amazon with this set of hanging bulb socket, i said, mmmm it looks very well made, Lets give it a try!!!! so ordered 3 of them, bought vintage bulbs and WOW, they looks just like the magazine ones, they are made of a high quality material, it really makes a difference as a photography prop. After two month of use i just ordered three more so i can saturate the scene with vintage lights, you know like a dream with some fog in the background. High quality material, matte paint on the metal portion, and it its safe indoor approved, it has a convenient 15' cord, i use this with a dimmer so you can get the right ambient light for your purpose. I really recommend this item.

Really wanted to update the light fixtures in our new home but we had a limited budget. Saw a DIY someone did using a rattan basket and a similar pendant light and decided to give it a try. I found these awesome baskets on sale at target for $15 each, so combined with this pendant, each fixtures only cost me $30 and I’m super happy with how it turned out. I would say it was fairly easy to install and while the pendant itself isn’t anything fancy, with the right shade it can make a nice DIY light for a fraction of the price. I just used a drill gun to make a whole in the bottom of the basket big enough to feed the wire through and it was easy as that!
