Emetrol is an effective nausea medication with rapid relief. I'm 75 and wish I had known about the medication earlier in life. Taste is OK with a little salty flavor as the tablet melts away. I would recommend this easy two tablet treatment to anyone.

I bought the lemon chewable kind. Tastes horrible, but works so fast. 100% recommend.

Love these to be able to just pop one or two in my mouth to chew on with an upset stomach. They work quickly and have a nice flavor.

It's like a crystalline cotton candy type of thing - really hard to describe. The flavor is ok, but the texture when you first start chewing them - it's sort of like a fine grain sand mixed with breath mint kinda thing. It's not a deal breaker and I'd buy them again to keep in luggage or in the car where messes and getting hot in summer are an issue, but they might give some people the heebie-jeebies with the fine, gritty texture. That sounds worse than it actually is when I type it out, but just know that they aren't smooth like a Tums and def. not as enjoyable as a gummy or the higher priced Tums things that are like a chewy candy. Of course, it's Emetrol, not Tums, but just trying to give you something to judge the texture by. :) UPDATE 2026: Not sure what has happened, but just got a bottle in Dec. 2025 and these things are now DISGUSTING tasting. Just opened it and took one and immediately came here to warn everyone. Tastes almost as bad as what you're trying to avoid by taking them. WHAT HAPPENED!?!?! Probably going back to the liquid version now.

Lately I have been getting these nausea spells, not sure why. But I think the source is coming from my head. (e.g vertigo, dizziness, etc..) I bought these tablets because of the many positive reviews. I took 4 tablets which was the maximum dose. They tasted like pure sugar and made my nausea worse. I think it depends on where the source of your nausea comes from on whether or not this will work. If the problem originates from your stomach, I can see this possibly working. But if it comes from your head, like me, you would probably have better luck taking Dramamine. I know for a fact that Dramamine works. Good luck and feel better!!!!

Helps with pregnancy nausea

They seem to be quite effective but personally I much prefer the liquid version of Emetrol. These tablets are very expensive, didn't seem to work as quickly and you needed to take quite a few for them to work. Good to have in the cupboard, but I will go back to the liquid one in future.
