My husband has varicose veins due to serving in the Army for the last 29 years. Due to having to wear boots on a daily basis, numerous road marches, and wearing body armor on deployments. He's been having bilateral leg pains, even after surgery a few years ago. I looked into buying him compression sleeves, because compression socks were too tight on his feet. These sleeves from Physix Gear Sports have helped out tremendously. The pain is now minimal, and are comfortable for him to wear.

I continue to experiment with different compression socks and sleeves which help in daily life with circulation issues (from a past blood clot) as well as provide calf support while running. I have not yet worn the Physix calf sleeve running, but I have worn it all day with lots of time spent on my feet and found the sleeve to be comfortable and to provide more than adequate compression. I'm 6'2", and this sleeve is longer than others I've tried and so it fits right below the knee down to the ankle. This seems to reduce the muscle/tendon irritation that has resulted from shorter sleeves that don't cover the entire calf.

My calf measures a size 17, so based upon the sizing chart I ordered the L/XL. Around the calf and right below the knee the tension and pressure are perfect, they are an awesome fit.Now around the Ankle, that’s a different story. If you have average size ankle, DO NOT BUY THESE. They’ll cut off your circulation like nobody’s business. I’ve been wearing 20-30 compression sleeves for some time and have never experienced ones that are so dang tight around the ankle. It’s like they have a manufacturing defect that they refuse to fix. They need to make the bottom opening like 1cm - 3cm wider to be comfortable. I mean if you have dainty ankles, this is perfect. But for the average person, unless you like your feet feeling bloated and possibly go numb because of lack of circulation, I would avoid these.I’m prob going to reach out to them to see if they have any suggestions, but I’ll more than likely be returning them. Ah yea, after reading the other reviews it looks like many other people have the same issue. You’d think the company would take the feedback seriously and do something about the design.Lastly, I really like the colors and design, but when the functionality is broken, it doesn’t matter how cool they look. Doesn’t help when I can’t wear them comfortably.

I ordered 4 pairs of their compression socks in May 2018 and loved them.They helped me out a lot but if I wore them every day like my doc requested they rub my feet raw.Work boots don't go with compression socks in my case, I cut the foot portion off them and have been wearing them as calf sleeves, works well for me.Stumbled across these sleeves on an Amazon search and immediately ordered 2 sets..Have been wearing them since I received them and they are working very well in easing my leg pain/swelling.They make an excellent product, I hope they keep up the good work, I will be reordering each payday until I get enough for a full weeks supply with a few extra.

Very pleased with this compression sleeve. I am on my feet most of the day at work, and these are comfortable and really help with leg fatigue. I got L/XL so they would be supportive but not overly tight. I prefer these to full-footed socks because they can be worn more times before washing, plus there is no bulkiness inside my shoe. They were a tad long for my calf length, but not problematic. I plan to order another pair or two.

Product is decent. Feels like the sizing is off. Ive always had muscular legs but have fallen out of shape a bit as of late, but my calves are still about 18” currently and around the calf is loose, barely feels like more compression than a regular tall hiking sock in a size XL. But at the ankle is almost cutting off circulation. My ankle is about 10” and there isn’t anything to lose. Not a great fit, I’ve had a upper body injury and cannot even take them off myself they are so tight around the ankle. May try cutting a slit in the band at the bottom to relieve some tension so they are usable still. Overall just okay.

I am 5'10'' 200pds. and 16.5 calf. I walk and jog about 30-40 miles a week. The compression calf sleeves worked very good on my long miles day (10 miles). They were comfortable and snug. I liked the design and texture of material. I was very pleased with this product, I do not have negative comments at the present time. They also sent a FAQ and tips pdf. that was very helpful. I will recommend this product.
