I actually tossed a perfectly good, over $100, iPad keyboard because the letters wore out SOOO fast! So, I bought another keyboard of the same kind, hoping it would be better, but could tell after just a few uses, the white letters on the black keys were starting to wear out, just like the 1st keyboard did (Apple REALLY should make these better!). Then, I found this skin, and it works great. Feels no different than using the naked keyboard!! I opted for the skin that mimics my iPad keyboard exactly - w/o the extra set of keys on some iPads that have 6 rows of keys vs. just 5, like mine - vs. the clear skins because I wanted to cover the fading letters and see good, clear letters. This skin is perfect!!!

This is the second one I’ve purchased as it does eventually stretch some and stops fitting as nice. Helps keep general dust and dog fur from getting stuck in the keyboard and doesn’t affect ability to type. iPad cover still closes as normal.

I keep a cover on all my keyboards because of dog hair and I’m clumsy. Initially I was super excited about this one for my iPad Pro 12.9 keyboard folio. It fit perfectly and stayed on even a funky angles or when upside down. I was stoked. Then over time it started fitting less securely and now after a few months of use it doesn't stay on and gets bubbles or folds when I type. It started better but in the end is the same as the others. It does keep stuff out of the keyboard, but I’m very sure soon it will be out of shape enough that I need a new one.

I have a “white” Magic Keyboard and quickly found it difficult to see the white letters of the backlit keys. The black membrane makes it much easier to see the keys in the daytime BUT, it also blocks out the backlit keys completely with the exception of the Upper Case Lock button. Looking on line further, I’ve not seen any other options for a black membrane covers that allow the backlit keys to shine through. I like this keyboard membrane and will continue to look for one that takes care of my day and night keyboard activities.

Not compatible with the iPad keyboards sold here. Complete waste of money.

Feels great and stays in place, good value for the money. Only one problem is that will block backlight, unable to use it in dark. Will have to order a clear one.
