I usually make this myself but wanted a short cut. This was super expensive so I had high hopes. Unfortunately it fell short on flavor and the whole jar went to the trash. I tried to salvage it by putting it in a soup so it wouldn’t be wasted but the flavor was just slightly rancid. Maybe I got a bad jar. Sad to have wasted this

I purchased these sour cabbage leaves to make Romanian cabbage rolls. I also bought another brand (VaVa) available on Amazon and these were a bit thicker, and didn't tear when rolling, should you be deciding between the two. The stems were a bit thick but the leaves were big enough that you could cut the stem out and still have pieces large enough to use. The store that sent them packed the jar carefully and shipped quickly. I recommend these!

For me personally I didn't like the taste. My father loved it. For the price I thought it would be a better product.

It worked well for our famous Christmas dish, the Hungarian stuffed cabbage. $7.99 to 10.99 would be a more reasonable price.

I bought these to make Sarmale and to my disappointment you only get 14 leaves and half are very small leaves, too small to roll the meat mixture. It also wasn’t the same manufacturer. The picture differed from the receive product.The taste was fine though.

Excited to try these because I couldn’t find whole sour cabbage heads. These were a total disappointment!! Mucky with one shredded large leaf rolled up with some small thick ends stuffed in the middle!! I should have returned!! I’d be embarrassed to sell these & actually get paid for them!
