I tried a number of guitars, including some way above this price range, and I was blown away at how well this guitar performs. It projects sound very well. It is not muted or dull. It is not perfect in its frequency range and some subtleties can be lost dependent upon your playing style, but you might be able to change this with a different string selection. The neck is comfortable and the action is perfect for me. Out of the box I did not have to adjust the truss rod. It was good to go. Additionally I really like their choice of placement of strap attachment location on the neck. It makes for a more comfortable experience.

Bought this and have been using it for more than a year. Sounds very good for it's price range. The tuning pegs are just meh, that's why it's a four star rating. I bought the fender that's $200ish for my son and they're very similar guitars. This Epiphone or the fender are the best in this price range.

It's ok. Problem though is mine shipped defective, lots of buzzing and broken frets. Don't buy from here, bad idea.

Good for beginners and left handers
