What are the minimum and maximum heights? Thanks

My door is exactly 36 inches wide but but the product dimensions say 24" x 36.2 Is the 36.2 the door width? Is it 24 inches long?

I bought one of these and the thread of on of the foot bolts doesn’t fit into the nut on the platform. Can I return? I don’t see that as an optokn

I'm confused about the height. One says 2" adjustment; one says 4 1/4"; another 5 7/8"??????
