First of all, packing was great, easy to install, and it fit my small bike frame with the battery upside down. Battery and motor/wheel feel great quality. and the kit looks clean on my bike.Riding with the kit feels awesome.It gets to 25mph consistently, no problem, which felt really fast, but not stupid unsafe fast, which is perfect. the acceleration is pretty fast and torquey.I like how you can set a cap on your speed using the lcd display in settings. If I don’t want to deplete my battery too fast by ridingcontinuously with 25mph, I can just cap the speed at say 21mph.I tested the range on a ride, and the battery died with an impressive 30 miles taken down, riding at 21-22mph consistently using only throttle, no pedaling (on a main flat asphalt road + several stops at traffic lights).I’m just very happy I could get at least 20 miles without pedaling.Plus, If you pedal lightly, you can definitely extend the range several miles.The throttle is pressure sensitive, so it ramps the speed up depending on how much you push, which is nice.Even at top speed, the motor is surprisingly very quiet riding outside. Just a faint buzz of the motor.Kit comes with included brake pedals, which cut off the power to the motor when pulled. After trying them, I realized I didn’t need them, because releasing the throttle + braking with stock brakes had the same effect.I tested only throttle on a long 20-25 degree incline on a parking garage ramp, and the bike tackled it like a beast. maintaining 15+ mph.definitely impressive.The kit was a great and cost effective way to power up my bike for fun. and I can still use my bike as normal, compared to buying a real Ebike, which would be heavy, more expensive, and difficult to pedal without electric power.

I got this kit thinking i wold convert my wife's old Rock Hopper to a modern E bike. Be warned, this kit is mean for conversion of newer bike frames. The rear stays had to be expanded to accommodate the rear hub motor. This is not something the average person can do, however, I was fortunate to have worked in a bike shop. Next the rack for mountain the battery to the down tube did not fit and had to be modified so the battery could set in the rack properly. Once i had the whole thing together and all electrical connections made i turned on the battery and display and nothing. Ultimately i took it to a specialty bike shop where the owner and i checked everything out and found the battery was fine but the controller was sending no power to either the throttle or display. Then i had to spend several more hours taking it all apart and shipping it back. You would be better off buying an E bike than trying to make a conversion with this kit.

I bought the Yose kit and have installed it, installation was not difficult. Watched a lot of youtube video's and read internet articles. I am very impressed with the power of my bike, the battery life and the ease of operation. Since I have not had it that long, I will have to wait to make a final review but so far so good. The one thing I will share is once I got the bike together the pedal assist was not working. I discussed it via email with Yose support and couldn't figure it out initially. I read somewhere, that someone pedaled backward and found that the motor came on. So, I pedal backward and found that everything was installed correctly except that the magnetic sensor was on backward. I reversed it and now the bike operates perfectly. Everything I look at showed the shinny part of the magnet facing out, but in reality the right way was for the shinny part of the magnet to face toward the sensor. The 5 settings of the pedal assist seems to work around 5/6 MPH, 9/10 MPH, 14/15 MPH, 19/20 MPH and 24/25 MPH respectively. Hope this helps someone trying to put together their Yose kit. I am very pleased so far.

the bike needs a lot of specific things for this kit to work. If you do get it on it works great is quite reliable.

The media could not be loaded. 500 watt Yose Power rear tire hub drive.I installed this kit on on an older Diamondback and could not be happier with the outcome.. I have put about 30 miles on it since I installed it and really enjoy having the electric assist.The kit was not that difficult to install. But I did need to get a bracket to install the battery correctly so it fit properly with my water bottle screws. Not a big issue.I bought the cassette version and had no issues transferring my cassette over.I have used the bike on roads, and trails..

It was fun for the first 3 months but after that I started having problems with the functionality. The wiring had problems. I had bought two of them one of them went out a month before the other one same problem computer control switch shorted out. This product is very cheaply built I'd find another product. I bought two of them in March and they're already both broke down in August

I found it on line N it was great. For the guy who cant figure out the pedal asst it will tell you how. The short of it is hold down the down button till the bike moves then pedalit will take off adjust the speedn start pedaling.
