Can anyone comment on the quality of the fabric? i've bought a gildan t'shirt before that was so scratchy i ended up discarding it immediately.

The colors are vibrant and the material is sturdy initially. I find after several washes the color has dulled slightly. The material will also quickly degrade and thin. With that being said I continue to purchase my tee shirts from Gildan. The prices are unbeatable. I've found washing with the smallest amount of detergent and hang drying them reduces wear and tear on the shirts.

What is the difference between g2400 and g5400

all I can say is the 5400 'heavy' is the perfect T for me. just a nice 5.3oz/yard T the 2400 'Ultra' is a 6.0oz/yard I've never tried it. Leaves me now wondering what does 'ultra' mean ? softer ? more sheen ? Don't care really, my whole thing was finding a well priced 100% cotton ( no blend) T-shirt that had all season comfort and had some quality and durability to it
