Picked up this Lavazza Qualità Rossa capsule pack while it was on special, and I’m glad I did. I bought this package largely because of the offer price of £24 (normally this pack is £44 at full price). Usually I prefer Illy, but it wasn't on offer and I was looking more for a good deal bulk buy on everyday coffee, so I thought I'd try it. This is actually pretty nice espresso, not THE best necessarily, but very good aroma and a fairly strong and pleasant flavour. At a reduced price like this I'd buy again, very good value.

Nice product, received very fast

I am really a Lavazza Fan, but the Qualità Rossa is pure cat's pee. To top it the red capsules may collapse in a DeLonghi machine or the perforation will fail and mostly a watery substance will emerge. Prick the top 4 times with a pin and you might obtain a cup of what Germans call "Bluemchenkaffee" or the worst kind of a filter coffee. Taste is simply abominable. No recommendation !
