The first one I bought worked great. Purchased three more from the same site to have one in each vehicle, and none of the three new ones worked!

A to good to be true deal was in fact to good to be true. The device constantly unconnects. I couldn’t get it to work at all and upon reading reviews I found this product to be a scam. It seems to be a rising thing on Amazon lately that scammers are taking over here now too. I had talk to an Amazon representative on another matter in which I raised concerns with possible stolen Amazon credit I received. They told me any and all of the merchants are “vetted” before being allowed to sell on Amazon. It sounds like the vetting process is easy to get around which is a damn shame for all the merchants who actually play by the rules.

Bought this for an uncle and he really liked it.

I have had one of these for years and just bought my kids some as stocking stuffers for Christmas. I want my kids to have one on hand in case they need it; Can be the difference between being able to drive the car and not (Some Fords will lock out driving until "service" if it gets a false positive overheat signal; with this you can reset it and get back on the road quickly without the expensive tow)

My car is a 1999 and this elm327 clearly is compliant with OBD technology but it would NOT connect to the car's ECU. This is the second order of the same product. Both did not connect. I tried it on 2 other much newer vehicles and it would Not connect. I went to Best Buy to see if there was an issue with my phone. No issues found. My neighbor tried to connect with his phone and could not. He has a similar device in his vehicle and his reads just fine. Guess it was just bad luck that I got two bad ones. Oh, and if you are going to return it to the seller, You have only 30 days from your delivery date. I was a few days past the 30 and could not get a replacement or a refund.

Don’t listen to people who say you need to pay a lot for other OBDs. If you own a 6.0 you need this every day. Works perfectly with Torque Pro. Add any PIDs you want except fuel pressure and a few others of course. Wish it did a buzz test but I found another OBD that works with another app specifically for a buzz test so no biggie.
