Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil, 5 Quart

I've used many brands of 0w20, in my opinion (after changing motor oil on my various cars for 45 years), this oil is as good as any other at any price. In my opinion (and shared by many in the field) it's really not what brand you use as it is how often you change your car's oil (and filter). If you're like me and change the oil between 3500 and 4500 miles, using any brand ( with the API rating) is fine, your engine will be fully protected. Never had a engine problem

I use this in my Ram 5.7 Hemi. Never had an issue but I also change my own oil at 4,000 miles regularly. Ram calls for 5w20 but there is no way I will ever use that as I have read to many horror stories. I might add that I like in a tropical climate so it never gets below freezing so you might want to consider that when purchasing. I will also use Red Line oil sold here on Amazon and that oil is my preferred brand but this oil is a close second for sure. A++

I enjoy watching automotive product comparisons on YT. Review after review validates the superiority of Pennzoil full synthetic motor oils over the competition. Whether in terms of cold flow rates, lubricity, friction protection, resistance to heat breakdown, or the extent of additive levels, Pennzoil synthetics almost always top out the list (save for the Am... line which, while being the "best of the best", costs nearly triple everything else). I typically watch for a price reduction or rebate and then buy a case or two on Amazon. It is a rare day that anyone else even comes close to Amazon's prices on Pennzoil synthetics, and nothing beats having the jugs show up the next day via Amazon Prime. Thank you Amazon! P.S. One comparison review actually rated the Pennzoil "Platinum" product higher than their more expensive Pennzoil "Ultra Platinum" flagship oil.

If you don’t have deep pockets for AMSOIL , this is the next best thing ! Been running Pennzoil full synthetic for years and my car has over 300k miles no problems 💪🏼

Been using this oil for my Toyota Tundra '15 for years now. It continues to keep my Tundra running strong and smooth. And that is what I need because I plan to keep this Tundra until the end of my days. Pretty good price too for 5 quarts of synthetic oil.

It's penns oil. It was about four dollars cheaper delivered than buying it down at walmart

I used this for my Prius prime 2022 and the results were mixed. It was not better than the OEM oil. My engine performance actually reduced and the car was louder. I think for the price it’s okay but I wouldn’t use it again. I switched to amsoil the hybrid and that was a way better oil.

Seems good a bit watery looking when I poured it in. I expected slightly thicker like all the other 5w 30. 🤔 Did come with tape on the cap so it didn't work loose during delivery. Will update if need be.
