12.5kg White Potatoes - From The Veg Box Company

Love these potatoes, they are not washed and scrubbed but they make a lovely mash with lots of butter etc. I always cook too many so I have some for the following day to put in frying pan , brown off and have whatever’s available ( ham cold meat ) etc. enjoy 😉😉😋 Barbara J

I am not a lover of messing around with potatoes, I mean why would you when you have McCain’s frozen jackets and Idaho mash… but I though give it a go.. myself and my daughter usually have 2 a piece but some of these spuds are huge so we will have to wait and see as I know I couldn’t eat two huge ones.I had to do a bit of cutting bad bits off, but that’s the norm for most potatoes I think.Financially, I worked it against an 8 bag of McCain’s frozen jacket potatoes and these worked out cheaper than the McCain’s by a couple of pounds this was including the electric to pre cook them all, the smaller ones I made chips from. But as stated most of these potatoes were bigger than any of the McCain’s potatoes and some were twice as big so it was sure worth a go… as they had loads of taste.I will be buying them again

Fed up with buying black spot potatoes, or green potatoes and potatoes that don't last due to incorrect storage by stores.Buy these.They come in a cardboard box, fast delivery, bit more expensive, but compared to throwing away half the spuds bought in the likes of Tesco and Co-op, work out cheaper in the end.No waste, excellent taste. Thoroughly recommend. Keep fresh in the garage/dark/cool. However, the mice soon find them so seal it up from them.

I ordered them because as I am on my own I thought that they would last me a few weeks if I stored them correctly. Some of them are starting to sprout already, so I am really disappointed. FALSE ADVERTISING! These potatoes are washed but they are shown on the site as unwashed.I am really disappointed.

These are by far better than any shop brought potatoes I've ever had, these are massive and in our box we did not have one bad potato, not even one black spot.Will be buying again for sure.

Best potatoes I bought
