These frames are very nice quality for the money. Carefully/well packaged for shipping;, arrived in great condition. The one disadvantage, not mentioned in the description: the glass cannot be removed. that's the only reason I rated them 4 stars overall. Otherwise, would have been 5. So if you should break it, as far as I can tell, you cannot replace the glass. But I like these so well, I bought 4 of them. The gold one, very nice.... brushed, not shiny/cheap looking like most gold metal frames.

The packaging was great. Completely encased in cardboard and taped closed. The frame was protected and in perfect condition.The frame is beautiful, a lovely brushed gold. The glass is glued to the frame, so it ain't coming out. I feel that the description didn't accurately describe this, but it's okay. I can work with it. It's pretty enough to deal with it.Unfortunately, the metal clips to hold the picture/mat/backing are impossible to put back in. I cannot figure out how to get them back in place. There are ZERO instructions included with the frame. As of right now, August 12, 2019, there are a few 'answered questions' on the listing where the seller answers the question of "How do I get the clips back in?" And while the seller, I'm sure, does their best, the explanation is not very clear. There are no other instructions listed anywhere regarding how to put the clips back in.I'm afraid to put too much pressure on the clips to get them into place, due to the glass being glued in. I'm going to tape the backing on so the frame is at least usable.

The silver color pops just a bit more than regular aluminum and makes the product look a bit more expensive than it actually is. It was very quick to put in pictures and the corner clamps work well. We bought over 20 of these in various sizes to refurbish a wall display (pictured above) and they worked very well. Frames are very nicely packaged and all arrived in perfect order ready to hang.To answer two questions about the picture: laser level was used to project lines on wall, spacing is 1-1/4" between all sides of frames. The "family" script was purchased at a gift shop (Magnolia) in Waco, TX. There are similar signs available on Amazon. Buy one without screw holes and use straight pins to hang the sign for a very clean look. Sizes in our display are 11x14, 8x10, and 5x7. Hard to tell in the picture but against a gray wall, these give a very sleek modern look.Frames marked as "tabletop" also hang on the wall. The back is cleverly designed so that the easel stand can be clipped under a corner spring or left free to use on tabletop. When clipped in back it does not cause the frame to stick out from the wall as many combo frames do.Virtually the only thing I wish these frames had is non-glare non-UV glass, but that would also raise the price significantly. Highly recommend Golden State Art metal frames. We purchased a couple of extra in each size so that we could be sure to keep the wall display consistent as pictures change. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommended.

Great frame for the price, or any price (was $9.99 for 8x8 when I bought). Good quality build, nice hardware. Contrary to what some other reviews say I think it is very easy to insert and remove the pieces that hold the picture to the glass. You push one end toward the glass and they detach from the lip they are held by, then place one end under the lip and press the other to re-insert them. In fact this is by far the easiest and best system I've seen in a picture frame! It is tight enough to hold a thin sheet like a printed photo directly against the glass and flexible enough to accommodate a mat (or a bit more).

I was researching custom frames, but turned off by the price of companies like Framebridge. Tried these extremely affordable options, and they are BEYOND expectations. So beautiful and expensive looking!Excitingly: the gold is NOT the cheap/yellow look on the product image. Rather, it's a high-class, soft, modern, muted look that honestly looks like they cost five times the amount. I am now in the process of buying these frames for my entire house, in all sizes. So far, I have not been disappointed once. What a great find!

Classy/traditional basic frame. First time for me to see glass glued to the frame. No worry about bits of glass on the edges. Increases strength greatly. Glass was reasonably clean for factory cleaning requiring minimal work to make it ready. The included mat was very nicely done, but I made a smaller cutout one. The corner protectors in the shipping box were excellent as well. No scratches on the black, corners lined up nicely compared to those found at large retailers.

Bought this to frame some photo art I purchased at a crafts fair. This was a great frame. Easy to insert the matted photo and easy to hang on the wall (some frames have annoying design for two wall hooks instead of one). And it looks great. I've already bought two and will buy this again for any future framing.

The frames were of solid construction with metal frames and nice glass. What really impressed me most was the packaging. Each frame was boxed carefully with foam to protect the corners. I was really pleased with the level of care taken to protect my purchase.
