A perfect instrument
The angle is accurate and markings are engraved with precision.

Bad product
The edges are not straight and accurate. The paints at the edges makes the product accuracy unlevel.

Poorly manufactured product
The base of the first carpenter square that I received was uneven and not straight and the upper arm did not conform to right angle. However the replacement was promptly sent. Overall the quality of the product can be improved substantially by the producer.
