Realeather Suede Trim Piece 8-1/2"X11", 12.5 x 2.75 x 0.19, Black

Really nice quality of suede leather that will be ideal for making thimbles for sewing, which I will be teaching some kids to do. The reverse side of it seems soft enough for this purpose, at least as one would expect for such a thing. The color of it is spot-on and consistent marbling, too.Were it not for this project that is coming up, these would make awesome zip cases, wallets, and any number of other accessories. I cannot yet speak toward the stamp ability of it, but just to say I think it is thick enough to accept that process. It’s not so thick that I don’t think we cannot pierce it with an awl for sewing it up with blunt leather needles and waxed thread.I am seriously hoping some is left over after this project, for the kids to use for making zip case zipper tabs with them.

There's one smoother side and one rougher side; I have the rough side facing outwards because it gave the best slip on the ground. I recommend very tough scissors or a rotary cutter if you need to cut this into pieces. Great quality and great for dancing lindy so far!

Adequate suede for my use in lining woodworking vise jaws. I liked the convenient-to-handle sizes and adequate thickness.

Good quality suede. It's got good weight and still very flexible. Good color. I'm using it to repair my old chaps. This will do the job.Update: Once I started working with this piece of suede I realized it was not 8 1/2" by 11". It is actually 8' x 10 1/2". There was also a very thin area which I did not notice at first. I was unable to repair my chaps with this item. Amazon issued me a refund. Got to give Amazon credit for their buyer protection policies.

I am new to leather work so I had a little difficulty with the needle work. The leather is soft and was easy enough to shape into a decorative patch to cover a tare in a leather coat.

Good quality suede leather sheet (Choc. Brown) from "Realeather Store". Dimensions are correct (8.5"X11", thickness avg. 2mm) and color are as described. Happy with the purchase.

Great little piece of Suede for the price! Got basically what I expected for the low low price. Thanks Realether.It is as advertised but is thin, however that's not a bad thing per se. I'm using it to line the bottom of a wooden box for my nightstand drawer for a handgun to rest in without being marred or scratched. Not sure how I want to stick it to the bottom yet, I have some gorilla glue I might try that but would have to use very very little so it doesn't seep thru the suede and stain / ruin it. Better would be to get a staple gun lol.

This suede is very soft, fabric-like. It's good quality so should work well anywhere structural rigidity is not required
