definitley get one of these if you use resistance bands. I plan to buy another fro a lighter set I have. keeps dirt/black marks from staining your bands

Great quality, nice and thick

I bought this along with the Bodyelastics cover to protect the X3 band from the baseplate as well as keep the bands together when doing the chest press and tricep press. This works, but I'm going with the Bodyelastics for the following reason. It's 2 inches longer. This provides better protection for me around my arms as the Black Mountain one is a bit short. It also provides greater coverage around the baseplate as the cover tends to move a bit and the Black Mountain version often would leave the band exposed to the baseplate. Please see the pictures for reference.

Works good protects well

I’ve been using this for 7 months now, works well & protects my bands. It’s 21” long & 3.5” wide. The velcro opening makes it easy to use multiple bands at once. I throw this in my bag w/a few bands when I travel so I can do some strength training in my hotel rooms. With this, I hope to protect & prolong the life of my bands. This looks to have been made well & I think it should last a few years.

Good quality but has a very strong chemical odor. Will try to air it out but I am not confident all the smell will go away.

When I first got this, I was going to return it, because it had such a strong, ether-like smell. I left it outside for a few days, and that seems to have dissipated. I also have the Bodylastics Band Barrier (I think it's called), which is the same kind of thing. The Bodylastics one is thicker and longer, which could lead to an inference that the Black Mountain one is a cheap imitation. But after using it awhile, I've come to appreciate that it's a bit lighter. It probably still protects a band from being scraped on a rough cement or asphalt surface just as well, and seems like a handier light weight. If you want heavy duty, go with Bodylastics, but if your preference is for less bulk and weight, then this one is good. I use both (I have one band I permanently keep in one and another band I keep in the other) and like them both. You can't go wrong with either one.

Great product! Works perfectly with the Gorilla Bow, keeps the bands off my back. Also great if you do other exercises with resistance bands.

This sleeve does exactly what it sets out to do: protect your feet when you are standing on your resistance bands for pulling exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bent-over rows, bicep curls, overhead press, etc. The padded neoprene sleeve helps to even out the pressure on the side of your foot. The price is very reasonable: it does the job just as well as the big brands but without the brand mark-up. Note that this sleeve is intended for standing on, as it says on the instructions. If you use the sleeve for other activities, such as to wrap bands around your back to do pushing exercises like chest press and triceps press, do so at your own risk: the neoprene is smooth so there is the risk that the sleeve and bands will suddenly shift and slip on you.

Can accommodate multiple straps. on the bigger side but you dont want the little one that normally comes with a resistance band set - Not cheap but worth it.
