Mixed Chicks Gentle Clarifying Shampoo, 10 fl. oz.

I bought this for my baby because he is biracial. I started using it myself. My hair is very course and curly. It now is soft, manageable and smooth. My little guys curls look amazing.

We have used this on my 4 year old granddaughter for about two years & it has done good for her hair. I used it on her sister and her hair has grown several inches. We will keep using it.

I’ve tried a lot of curly hair products. I am most happy with Mixed Chicks products including this shampoo.

This product has a faint scent that will not overpower your perfume or cologne. It smells superior to the rest of their product line and performs exceptionally well. As a man, I apply this to my curls with a sponge. It functions effectively, in my unbiased opinion.

I like the texture the feel and the way my hair looks and feels

We were given a bottle of this after hurricane Sandy. I was pleased because it was a brand we had wanted to try but didn't care for the price. I have three daughters who are mixed white (Irish, German, French Canadian, English, Pollish, mostly just downright western American) and black Jamaican. Mixed feelings at first. I found it made the girls hair coarse and seemed to knot quicker. Then I changed my approach.Hair gets brushed before washing. We use a small amount of this and pull it through head instead of rubbing it into scalp, this prevents knots. We use our regular conditioner as usual. The end result is a stronger definition and softer curl in the girls hear then with a different shampoo but same conditioner. Also. With four people using the shampoo it has lasted a year for this small bottle. Well worth the money. I am switching to a different shampoo for one or two of our three shampoos a week (that's what works best with my girls hair), mostly for ease and because I consider this more a deep cleaner then a daily cleaner. Very much enjoy the shampoo. Considering trying the sulfate free version or the children's version.Did buy this when we ran out of what was given to us.

It is gentle, not a lot of suds and smell OK. A little goes a long way.

I really like this shampoo I have been looking for the right shampoo for my Daughter's and little sister's hair type for a while now and I think I found it, it leaves her hair nice and soft no frizz or dryness her curls really do look and feels healthy. She has had many comments and compliments. now the best part Very little on your palm goes a long way on your hair. This is almost a concentrated texture shampoo, it rinses out all impurities in her hair. it's hard to rate this product on its own because I've never used it alone in my daughter's hair. I've always used the Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner with it. I would recommend always using the Deep. I have 2c-3a curly hair and it's very prone to build up. I've previously used the shea moisture low porosity shampoo and was devastated when it was discontinued! This shampoo is fantastic. It's removed the build up and left my hair feeling lighter again. Highly recommend for those with low porosity hair.

This product is great, a little bit goes a long way, i have quite long hair so usually have to use quite a lot of a product to wash my hair but this lathered up really nicely and made my hair squeaky clean and it smells fab! i then left the deep conditioner in my hair for an hour and then towel dried and put in the leave-in-conditioner, again a little goes a long way, that was it, that was all i needed and my hair looks amazing, my curls are bouncy and healthy looking and i did not need to put anything else in my hair. Will never use any other product again.

Gave me an itchy blotchy scalp. Shampoo is nothing special, conditioner small and not effective and leave in conditioner worked but dried my hair out, so had to keep wetting it.

Love this range though it does need to be used with the conditioner for best results have a friend whose children have agro style h air and it's the only stuff that works on their hair, yet works equally as well on my fine hair
