I received this product in a FabFitFun box, and loved that it was a Seattle based company. I’ve had my share of trying out scrubs over the years, and consider myself pretty picky! I have medium length acrylic nails, and the makers thought to provide a little stick scoop to retrieve the product which I LOVE because then half of the product isn’t getting lost beneath my nails (they even have a protective lid that fits the scoop in place too). These granules are so minuscule in size, not super large - but still manage to pack a punch in terms of cleaning. I have combination skin & if my face is feeling super oily this stuff gives the most refreshing & invigorating clean (did I mention it doubles as an exfoliating mask!?!). If my skin is feeling dry, this miracle worker is somehow gentle enough not to disrupt the dryness while still providing the exfoliation my skin is craving, always leaving that deep clean feeling. I wouldn’t say my skin feels ‘baby soft’ after using, but the healthy, clean feeling it provides is UNMATCHED. Truly ‘magik’ - highly, highly recommend!!

Absolutely love this scrub!! Best exfoliater , I've used this product for a few years I recently ran out and couldn't find it again but thankfully I did. I absolutely love it and the what it does for my face.

I originally received this in a fabfitfun box and it's the only thing from any of the boxes I've liked enough to buy again. I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. My pores aren't huge but get clogged and the granules in the scrub are small enough to clean them out. It doesn't break me out and makes my face really soft. I did try it as a mask once and my face was red for a few hours after so now I just use it as a scrub a few times a week. I ran out of it for a few months and finally gave in and ordered another bottle (imo it's too expensive for the amoubt per bottle) and I can tell a noticeable difference between when I wasn't using it and started again.

I am 44 with combo skin that is more on the drier side. Unlike others in my category, my skin response favorably to frequent exfoliation. If I do not exfoliate for a week. my skin becomes textured with whiteheads, blackheads & dry patches. I typically use a St. Ives scrub but want to stay away from anything this walnut shells in it. I tried the Exfoliating Pineapple Powder by Good Molecules, and I like it yet needed something with alil more umph! Found this item and I am hooked. I think its the volcanic ash that does it for me. My face & lips are so so smooth, this scrub doesn't dry out my skin or irritate it. A little goes a long way, this item spreads pretty nicely. After use my face feels/looks refreshed, plump & rosy. My skin soaks up my serum & moisturizer afterwards. Definitely recommend

I have sensitive skin that is prone to stress break outs. I use this product 2-3 times a week and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and clean. Smell is almost a sorbet smell. Make sure to wet the product a little bit as it can be tough on skin, but I have never had a reaction and love the way my skin feels after. It also lasts me about 4-5 months depending on usage - a little goes a long way.

This cleanser/scrub is great for me. I have already gotten another one to use in my shower. I can feel and see how much smoother and softer my skin is. I also leave the Lava Magik on for +/- 5 minutes 2-3 times a week. It has definitely helped with the annoying "skin tags-sort of moles" slough off. For my skin Lava Magik is amazing. I have been using it for less than a month. I highly recommend it altho', please do understand that we're all different. Update:January I continue to love this product! Definitely smoothes and softens my skin. I hope this will continue being available.

I love this stuff! I think it's amazing. Exfoliation products I've tried in the past never really exfoliated well, but this stuff is like creamy sandpaper 😌 It doesn't smell bad, but it does have a clay-like scent. It gets my face really clean and soft, and it can be used as a scrub or a mask.
