My Klipsch Atmos Speakers
This is the first time I added elevation speakers so I matched them up to my Klipsch RP-8000F tower speakers. When I finally reconfigured and recalibrated the dolby-atmos speakers, they sounded great! It literally opened up a new sound I hadn't heard before! I know it sounds like a cliche but it's true. From jet propulsions to hovering helicopter blades, these sounds were coming down from all around. Great clarity and impressive construction makes my simple set up look and sound like a showroom set up. I'm humbly thankful for Klipsch (and Amazon) running a sale and making it possible!

Klipsch Atmos Speakers are great - Dolby Atmos is great
1st Dolby Atmos is way more than height speakers or surround sound speakers. Atmos is a sound mix that is immersive more than distinct like Dolby 5.1 or DTS. You get this mix either by the source being mixed in Atmos or using a setting on the home theater receiver. You cannot listen to the atmos speakers alone and judge atmos. I got Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon blu ray with Atmos and its the best thing I have ever heard on my home system. It does not blare at you. It is just in the room The Klipsch 500 SA II has 2 speakers and creates a lot of sound. I had a single speaker atmos speaker and there is no comparison to the Klipsch. The SA II is the current release and has better components. The rest of my system is Klipsch so it sounds good together. Dolby Atmos and these Klipsch atmos speakers are worth it. I mean I switched from DTS to ATMOS and there was no comparison. Steven Wilson does a lot of the atmos mixing and hooray for Steven Wilson. To me, this is the sound I have been waiting for for I won't admit how many years.

excellent height speakers with a few sizing surprises
I picked up the Klipsch RP‑500SA II speakers to upgrade the height layer in my home theater, and overall they’ve delivered the kind of clarity and dynamics I expect from the Reference Premiere line. The horn-loaded design gives Atmos effects a crisp, directional quality, and when used in height mode, they create a convincing sense of elevation without sounding harsh or overly bright. Dialogue lift and overhead effects feel more defined, especially in action-heavy scenes. Build quality is solid, and the cabinets feel dense and well‑damped. They blend nicely with other Klipsch speakers in terms of tonality, so if you already have a Reference or Reference Premiere setup, they slot in naturally. I also appreciate that they can be used in multiple configurations, whether as Atmos modules, wall‑mounted height channels, or even as surrounds depending on your room layout. One thing buyers should pay close attention to is the physical size. I originally planned to place them on top of my bookshelf R‑50M speakers, but the RP‑500SA II is noticeably larger and doesn’t sit securely on top. They’re really designed to pair with Klipsch’s floorstanding models, where the footprint and angle line up properly. Not a flaw, just something worth knowing before you plan your layout. Performance-wise, they’re strong, but they do benefit from careful placement. When wall‑mounted, they open up even more and provide a wider, more immersive height field. If you’re expecting a dramatic difference from the previous generation, the improvements are more subtle than transformative, but still worthwhile if you value cleaner detail and better dispersion. Overall, these are excellent height speakers with impressive clarity and flexibility. Just make sure you have the right space for them, especially if you’re thinking of placing them on top of bookshelf speakers.

Top notch speakers
Bought these to finish off the Atmos Sound System I bought, hanging them up high on the wall behind us. Look for Ghost wire by Sewell to run along the trim to hide the wires.

Easy to install
Ad another dimension in in the space. I used them as side speakers tho not atmos.
