my firts set of beyerdynamic was the dt770s and i thought they sounded great,now i bought the dt700sand they sound downright amazing the bass has a firm thump to it,the mid are very clear and the highssound sweet and clear now i know these terms are subjective but to me they are easily the best phonesi have ever heard.the factory cables are the worst i've seen they are still in the box they are stiff and unyielding the siliconecase does not slide on my clothes easly.so on the auction site i found a very nice selection of 8 core and16 core headphone cables that are very nice to use and they just plug right in to the dt700s and they come in so many lengths , all shorter or longer and they seem to sound some what cleaner and detailed.the sound stage is very wide, some of the instruments even seem to come from behind me.given the need i would definitely buy these Agin ,i just wish i bought the dt700s first.i can even hear details in the music i have never heard before , i am starting to enjoy my music in new ways now its just like rediscovering music all over again.i just a second pair of dt 700's for a spare set ,these phones are so engaging it is very easy to get lostin the music.with these phones i can hear nuances in the music i have not heard before i.e. singers voices/instrumentsthat other phones have masked.to add a new note these phones are just so engaging i just to had to have a spare pair.after a 3 months of enjoying these phones they always surprising me how great they sound,i am always hearing details in the music i have not heard before.the voices are clear and crisp and the bass is firm and well defined

Loved the quality packaging and how the product arrived with extra cables. These headphones are solid In construction and very comfortable. I ended up sending them back because the lack of detail in certain frequencies made it hard to do the job I wanted them to help me with.I did however find them enjoyable to listen to. With some eq adjustment I found them to be a relaxing set of cans.

I’ve been using the beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X headphones as my daily driver for over a year. I’ve dropped the headphones dozens of times, and while the ear cups have popped off, they can be easily reinstalled. I often destroy the ends of my cables, and while the detachable cable means I’ll be safe if that happens, the cable is still like new after many drops and bumps. The headphones are relatively comfortable on my small head and I’m able to wear them for 8+ hours per day. Even though I live in a warm weather climate, they do not make my ears hot.These headphones are not very portable because they don’t fold. I’ve taken them on several trips without a case and they came out without a scratch. However, they took up quite a bit of room in my backpack or suitcase because they don’t fold.

I wanted a set of good headphones I could use with my laptop and phone. I saw that a lot of professional musicians doing reaction videos on YT were using Beyerdynamic headphones, DT 770's (closed back) and DT 990's (open back). The DT 700 Pro X is the successor to the DT 770. One feature I especially like is that the DT 700 cord is detachable. It comes with the nicer cushions available only on the 250-ohm DT 770. It is very comfortable for long listening sessions. The construction is very sturdy. And the DT 700 impedance is 48 ohms, making it perfect for computers and phones (no amplifier needed}. Great and even sound. I am very happy with my purchase.

Gonna give it three stars because i had to order a better pad for the top of the headphones. The one it comes with has no support or cushion. If you have a big head as well it doesn’t fit without squeezing it. The sound quality is great. If you have long hair it also pulls it out every time I take it off. For the price I paid I just expected something of higher quality especially for the ear and head pads it originally comes with.

My brother got me a pair of headphones and after a while he got a computer set up as well. I've noticed that his speakers can be a little loud sometimes (especially at night when my baby sister is sleeping) so I decided to repay the favor! I chose these because I looked at the reviews and because I like the fact that the cable is detachable for other things as well! Very useful! Daniel, my brother, was very happy with the quality, although the noise cancellation might be too good. He doesn't hear a thing when I try to get his attention:)

Bass on the closed back DT 700 is stronger than on DT 900 - that's as expected.I expected the open back DT 900 PRO X to have more transparent highs.It did not. And I found the DT 700 PRO X to have a more even spectrum.I thought the DT 900 would be "airier", like say an AKG 702. It was not.The soundstage and high frequency response were better on the DT 700.All in all, the DT 700 PRO X offer excellent response from bottom to top,great all-day comfort and is easily driven by a M1 Macbook Pro 3.5 mm port.

I’m a longtime user of Beyerdynamic’s products. I’ve had a set of DT880s I’ve used for 8 years that have finally given up the ghost. I wanted to keep that silky smooth, non fatiguing sound, but switch to a closed back design that provided more isolation and was great for travel. These headphones were just the ticket!This headphone kit is also great, as it comes with some supplies and an extra headphone cable, which will be good for when I inevitably roll over the cable with my desk chair and ruin it 😅
