I am happy with quality of these chips. I wish they were available in custom denominations. I took matters into my own hands by swapping sticker inserts. I had to buy extra chips obviously, but it was still cheaper than buying custom ceramic chips. The key to good shipping is to order a lot of chips. When I initially ordered 300 chips, the smaller boxes were in a larger box and all the boxes were in good shape. When I ordered 50 chips, the small box was in a pouch and the box came apart as did the plastic sleeve around the chips and chips were everywhere. Thankfully none were broke. The problem is the plastic sleeve around a stack of 25 chips is very brittle and comes apart even inside the little box.

We have now played several nights/games with these chips. Everyone really likes the chips and the quality seems quite high. I built a 800 chip set and could not be happier with them.

I ordered a variety of chip denominations (13 of the 50 counts) which was shipped from Amazon. The chips overall I'm happy with. There are some minor imperfections. The colors not being alighted properly on a few chips such as having a smeared look. Such imperfections seem to only affect 1 or 2 out of every 50. I haven't gone through every chip though. I don't know the frequency these imperfections occur on average with all brands and types of chips. So I don't know if this is normal or not. The $10s colors are a bit brighter than what the picture shows. So $10 chips are close in color to the $25 chips. You can distinguish the colors between the chips. However, it would much better if their colors were more distinguishable. Depending upon lighting, distance, and / or eye sight distinguishing the chips only on color can bit a bit difficult. Nothing stands out to me as a major negative except for the main reason why I'm writing this review. One of the shipments sent to me containing 1 of the $500 50 count and 1 of the $1000 50 count was in an Amazon bag. After opening the bag, the chips were not in the Da Vinci boxes nor were they in the plastic wrapping. The Amazon bag did contain the boxes and plastic wrapping. It seemed I may have received returned items. Even though my order was for NEW items. The chips seemed to be in good enough or acceptable condition except for at least one chip. This chip has a small (2mm) cut on the edge of the chip. I don't know if it was due to how it was shipped (since it was in a bag and not a box to protect it) or from something else prior to shipping to me. Aside from that major negative, the chips are worth it and I may end up ordering more (as long as I don't experience and more major negatives). Update: I bought more 50 chip stacks. I received another shipment or two the same way as my major negative experience. One chip was severely damaged. I think these chips when sent in Amazon bags are more likely to break out of their box and wrapping while in transit than if they were shipped in a box. So I would be mindful of ordering these stacks of chips. If they aren't packaged properly they will burst out of their plastic wrapping and boxes.
