Great product
Great dog treat. The sizes are random, but you can break them to make them smaller if you need to, as they're not hard, so they're easier to break. The smell isn't bad in my opinion, I think it smells fine - like what you'd expect free-dried organs to smell like, I suppose. The dog loved them, but we found out he's allergic to beef, so we can't get him these anymore. Great value though, I was happy with it.

My dog loves this, but...
My son, who is very picky about what he feeds his dog, recommended these Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, which are made from beef liver, and are grain and gluten free, and are probably better quality than the food I feed myself, but there is something really important to know: these dog treats are the most vile, horrible smelling things that my nose has ever encountered, and I once had to remove a sump pump from a septic tank, and if there is a hell, these treats are probably what hell would smell like. I can't stress enough just how bad these smell, BUT: even more important: my dog absolutely loves these; but please be aware that I saw her eat her own vomit once. She is a dog, after all, and even though I love her dearly, and I've seen people allow their dogs to lick their faces, I do not. Affection does not require me to allow canine saliva near my nose and mouth, and while she is the absolutely sweetest creature, and more gentle that any human I know, I also recall that I suspected her recently of consuming feline excrement in our yard, which is frequently visited by the neighbor's cat. Of course, as many people would agree, this is an intolerable situation, no matter how much I love my dog, so I quickly ordered a no-more-poo eating product from amazon, which I'll be reviewing soon. To save you, dear reader, from searching for said epistle, the anti-poo consumption product seemed to save the day, since I no longer smell or sense the effect the assumed poo eating seemed to have on my dog's breath. Alas, dear reader, be advised that should you order these Stewart Freeze Dried Dog Treats, you may be surprised to learn that the individual treats weigh almost nothing, since the water has been freeze dried out of them, but as long as you provide plenty of water for your animal, he or she will be fine. One last thing: The dog is not man's best friend; The dog is man's ONLY friend. We should treat our friends as best we can.

DELICIOUS! (well, my dog thinks so)
Freeze-dried liver chunks. What's not to love?! My dogs love them. Great training treats, all natural (it's just diced beef liver). They inhale them and beg for more! No mess or smell to your hands. Finally, a dog treat that is natural, healthy (only ONE ingredient!) and they love. No more little brown kibble bits or fake bacon of unknown ingredients for my mutts!

Large pieces, hard to break, dog loves!!!!
This treat is a hit with my dog! I find the pieces to be large, larger then my dog who is 25 pounds needs for a treat, the problem is I am unable to break with my hands. I need to cut them with scissors before we go out the door for a walk. This being the case I do not reach for them often🤷🏻♀️

Picky dog adores these
My Kylo loves his afternoon snacks but there are very few that he gets wild over to the point he is willing to do things he isn't keen on to get them. I though I might give these a try because his favorite Wild Weenies are a bit pricey plus I like to have variety in his enrichment. Well after one taste Kylo was positively cuddly. This dog does not get in laps. He prefers to be petted at arms length. But for these he is climbing into my lap and offering every trick he can come up with to get one more bite. My other dog is more cuddly but is very food selective and will often pass on treats even Kylo loves. He too is all front and center and ready to work to get his share during afternoon tricks for treats. Yes they smell awful. But for a dog the stink is part of the allure. And I can easily enough wash my hands after a treat session, as one should. My only wish is that these were smaller for training. They are in assorted shapes but generally 1/2 inch cubes. They are hard to break into smaller pieces and for a smaller dog or a dog watching calories you can't use them for a very long training session.
