The connections are made with small drops of solder that couldn't carry 1 amp. Going in the trash can!

These work but are quite fragile. The solder and shrink are all that hold the two connectors together. They are also sort of too close together for some of the thickness of the plugs. I would not buy this style again. Get one with a Y wire setup. Seems like it might work better. I already broke one of the two I bought from normal use.

I had to cut the heat shrink and spread the two parts a little to allow for insertion of two plugs. The problem is that the plugs also have some heat shrink and they do not nest close so the choice is to remove the heat shrink from the two plugs or cut the heat shrink and spread the receptacles slightly, I chose the later and it worked fine. I think if the maker takes this into account for future products and builds it with the needed clearance it would make for a 5 star product.

Completely overpriced. What a rip off but I needed them quickly.

I bought these a while ago and just tried using them. The connectors are not quite standard and are too snug when plugging in cables to the connector. The XT-60s are soldered back-to-back with no extra conductor, and the heatshrink is regular flexible single layer so they're fragile. I broke two in two days.

Adapter probably works well when you get the right one. This is probably an Amazon problem, not a supplier problem.
