I adopted my 4 month "Lab Mix" puppy in mid-April of 2025. We slowly transitioned her to her new food as the weeks went by, and aside from house breaking her, she was having accidents very frequently. No shape, and all liquid. We thought maybe the new food was not mixing well with her. We decided to try a new food, with probiotics this time, well.... that kind of worked. Her stools were still very loose, but they did have some shape. They were not quite where we wanted them to be. We did notice, however, when we gave her carrots, they would be more solid and easy to pick up. After we took her to the vet and the vet assured us she was of good health standing, we decided to give this product a try after the vet suggested adding psyllium husk to her diet. HOLY COW! In about two days, it was night and day. The best poops she has ever had since we brought her home. It's also made potty training so much easier! Almost down to no accidents when we're at work, which has provided us with some comfort being away. Her accidents were occurring in the middle of the night and those were not fun to wake up to at 2 AM. My girl is able to hold her poops better and they're so easy to clean up which has been a plus. Its currently July 17th, and we have been adding it to her dinner kibble for two weeks now. Anyways, this worked great for my pup. I thought the fiber may loosen her stools more, but it's helped to firm hers up and its worked wonders.

Four stars because it arrived as described. However, it didn't seem to do anything for my dog. Maybe it will work for yours.

I purchased these for my senior dog who is having some bowel issues as of late. Because she is a big girl, 94 pound shepherd lab, I have to use quite a bit of this so it didn’t even make it a month. After this purchase I went ahead and re-searched organic fiber Which is totally safe for dogs and found one with one single ingredient needed at a fraction of the cost per ounce so we are doing that. If you have a smaller dog this may be good the flavor for it is definitely better versus an organic fiber so I have to disguise the new one but it’s just much more cost efficient to get something not advertised for pets

My old lady pup is a sensitive little bean and tends to get the stress squirts whenever a new mail person giving her the wrong treat, the neighbor's dog gives her side eye, or there is an errant breeze. So this is a blessing and I have noticed a dramatic improvements in her daily eliminations. She seems to like the broth it makes, too. I mix it with low sodium chicken broth instead of water, along with her healthy brain powder into her kibble, give a quick zap in the microwave, and she chows down. She is much less bloated, her poops are normal, and she is much less flatulent (huge bonus, as she is frightened of her own toots).

This was a game changer for our German Shepherd with IBD.
