Goid replacement filter for my Levoit

Only slightly decreases total dissolved solids
After installing the filter following instructions provided, including emptying out the first three pitchers of water, I tested the water with a meter I received with my ZeroWater pitcher and the total dissolved solids decreased from 187 to 172. My ZeroWater pitcher decreased the TDSs to zero. Therefore, these filters may just be a waste.

It has changed
I brought this brand of filter before and it used to have the option to increase and decrease filtration rate. The water filter very quickly now, which worries me if it filtered it thoroughly. Water still has the weird water taste and smell.
