Can't go wrong
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Gold Standard for Roof Repairs—Worth Every Penny! I bought the GEOCEL GC55103 4500 Roof Bonding to finally tackle a persistent, slow leak around a chimney flashing that I had failed to fix with three different big-box store sealants. This product is in a league of its own, and the five-star rating is absolutely earned. Application: The sealant is thick, but it flows exactly where you need it to go. I applied it easily using a standard caulking gun. The self-leveling property is fantastic; it beautifully filled small voids and gaps around the flashing without me having to tool it much. It adheres immediately to everything—metal, asphalt shingle, and masonry. Performance & Cure: I applied this on a cool afternoon, and it skinned over quickly. The truly amazing part is its performance. The leak I've been fighting for months? Completely gone after the first rain. It remains flexible and has handled the recent temperature fluctuations and strong UV exposure with zero sign of cracking, shrinking, or lifting. It truly creates a permanent, watertight membrane. Final Verdict: If you are dealing with a tough leak on your roof (especially around vents, skylights, or flashings), stop wasting money on cheap sealants. The GEOCEL 4500 is professional-grade and provides the peace of mind that the job is done right. It bonds fiercely and forms a flexible, durable repair that looks like it will last longer than the roof itself. Highly, highly recommended for serious DIYers and professionals alike!

Works The First Time
Needed to seal down some architectural shingles that got lifted in an 80 mph wind shear. I was luckier than most, my shingles didn't tear or break. In the past, I had mixed results with cheap asphalt repair products. They all instructed laying a house brick on the repair overnight. I had numerous repairs , so that wasn't an option. Besides, who wants to go back up on a 25 foot roof the next day to see if it worked or carry 30 bricks up there. A friend that works as a roofing contractor recommended this Geocel 4500. He said to wait for a sunny day and just hold the repair down with my hand for about a minute. He laughed about the house brick thing. This stuff is the real deal. I treated it like contact adhesive. Apply it to the surface, press it down, pull it apart slightly, then put your weight on it to seal it down. This stuff sticks! Did all the lifted shingles in about 45 minutes. I wore an old pair of mechanic's gloves and just threw them out when done. It's pretty unforgiving if you get it on you . Had another storm roll through a couple days later and every repair held firm. Only 45 mph wind this time, but they held. I didnt have any problem with hardening in the tube. I must've got a fresh batch. I set it in the sun on an asphalt driveway for a couple of hours before I started. It was nice and pliable on a 75 degree day. This worked as advertised.

Great Product, there is no substitute
There is no substitute. Have been using this product for years. Make sure the sealant is warm when you go to use this product, it is great but is much easier to get out of the tube when it is not cold. Also, I always wear disposable gloves and have a rag or two handy during application. The less you get on things you don't want it on, the happier you will be. It is not easy to thoroughly remove it from tools or your hands without a solvent of some kind.

Very good roofing sealant
It does a great job on flashing and roofing issues. The downside is it is messy and doesn't have a long shelf life, and very short once opened and partially used.

Great for sealing small imperfections on a roof
This was used to seal the space around a vent collar on my roof. There was a small leak that would form in windy storms. A small application around the base of the vent collar sealed the leak with no issues. Great inexpensive way to fix small areas on the roof!

Great Product!
I removed some satellite brackets from our house roof yesterday. The brackets weren’t being used, and they were an eyesore that I got tired of looking at while outside doing various projects. Once the brackets were removed, I cut pieces of flashing to slide underneath the composition shingles to cover the lag screw holes. I applied a generous amount of this sealant to both sides of the flashing before sliding the flashing under the shingles. I then used this sealant to fill the holes in the shingles down to the flashing. This product is messy, so wear some thin rubber gloves. I won’t know how this product worked until it rains. I will continue this review after it rains.🙏 Returning to update review! It has rained numerous times on the repair site, and no leaks whatsoever. I’m sold on this product!
