I like that this has a front and a rear facing camera. My car is older, and I don't have a backup camera, this works for that also. It's also hard to see out the back window of my SUV past seat backs and dog heads. I would suggest going on You Tube and watching a few videos. One helped me figure out which setting was best. My one major complaint is if you have it turned on to the rearview camera as you are driving, you get a double reflection. One from the camera and on from the mirror itself. It is very distracting. Taking the SD card out is very tricky, would be nice if it was located on the side or bottom of the mirror. It's in between power cords and is a micro SD, so it's hard to handle anyway. In general, a nice camera and installation was easy. I'm a 64 yr old woman and it took me less than half an hour to install and hide all the wires, to my satisfaction. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist) One issue I haven't been able to fix is the still pictures. I can view the clips on my PC no problem, but it says it doesn't support the still picture format. I don't understand, they are JPG files. Not a deal breaker for me, more an annoyance.PS- I thought my dashcam broke but it turns out it was only the charger came apart. I was not aware it comes unscrewed and apart. When I unplugged it, the ends came off and I didn't realize it. My son found the parts on the floorboard and put it back together, it works like a charm again. So my suggestion is everytime you unplug it tighten the ends of the charger.

I bought this in august 2022, and have been using on every drive. Overall this is a great product. The only improvement i have been looking for is better stabilizing on the front camera. If you are careful you can place this just above your steering wheel view line as a supplemental viewer, the shutter speed allows better visibility in snow falls and rain falls, it's not perfect but it does provide some viewable improvements, i have been lucky enough to see deer in the viewer at dusk and early night that i could not immediately see out the window (Do not strap this to your glasses though. it won't give you cyber sight :) ). The rear camera does well enough, but at night, headlights can throw a lot of bloom that you can't see the car itself until it is right up close (but that is probably for the best anyway). I have the camera mounted inside the back wind shield because it would stay clean and dry as long as i use the rear wiper and it is a very small profile. overall a great product .

Installed it and it won't even turn on watched multiple videos and had everything wired up correctly and still wouldn't work, what a waste of money

I've had a few mirror cameras in the past and when ordering this assumed the brand was the same as the sellers name but it was different. I purchased this to replace a 2.5k camera I owned for 2 years they was amazing but ran into an issue where it would power on am shut off repeatedly. Wanted to replace it with the same brand but couldn't find it and was happily surprised that this one was the same brand, Vantop! The quality of the image is great and the only downside is the same as my 2yr old one and that's the use of both front an rear cameras at night together. If the cars are say 3 cars away or to close their lights overwhelm the rear cam an all you get is the bright shining in the image. But for backing up at night it's amazing same with the front. It doesn't weigh my factory mirror down like some mentioned and even if it did you can tighten the cars original mirror. Overall it's great an keeping this over a more expensive one I order bc the image quality is the same, can adjust the front camera left right and up down, it's voice controlled and easy to use. It's worth getting and giving it a shot even if the seller has drastically less reviews than some others.

Updated - Reached put to the seller and they were very responsive! Upgraded my rating since I noticed images of other more expensive cameras show a reflection as well. I guess I was expecting it to perform like an OEM video rearview mirror in newer cars. For the money I think it performs well.Overall the mirror is okay. I haven’t decided if I want to wire in the back camera since during the day it’s very hard to see the image on the mirror since it has to display through it. For now I just use it as a mirror and have it set to turn off the image after a min. I have the brightness set to max and still seeing the rear view reflection over the video display. But as a front camera it seems to work well and just like my camera only unit this replaced. If the image was brighter I would rate the unit higher. The voice control worked on my unit.

Out from the box, the touch screen is not working. Was not able to find customer support.However, Video and recording are fine... only settings cannot be changed.

Its a good product for daytime. Very clear screen and camera at day time. The screen reaction time is fast. Easy to use. HOWEVER, poor at reading license plates and types of cars at night. Seems like too much glare at night. Also, the reserve parking guidelines are not the size of my pickup or even my compact car... the distance part works but sideline are useless (i have to park on the curb so the line on camera shows i am close to the curb).

This was easy to install and get running. So far it is working well and put this in another car. Will probably install one in my sons car also. The only problem with night camera usage is from car headlight glare that makes it difficult to see details of other cars with headlights on. Also, not sure I like the rubber bands that hold it on the mirror. Not likely to last long. Great value overall.
