It's a power brick, so far it hasn't overheated, burst into flame or done anything bad. I'm a happy customer. I'll update the review if it fails. I use it daily.

I broke my 2 mo old laptop back In 2015 and when I went to Best Buy to replace the charger they said Lenovo changed its chargers already but if I wanted one they were $150. So I tucked the laptop away in my attic and never looked at it until last week. Dusted it off and hit the old amazon wondering if they offered something for me and I immediately found this. Shipped in 2 days. Perfect length perfect fit. Powered my laptop right up and I was able to go back in time and revisit my Apple library and look at pictures I forgot I even had. Not to mention this cord feels more heavy duty then the one the computer came with.

We replaced the original charger because the wire that plugs into the laptop split and the internal wires broke. We use the old Yoga 2 to play games, so we needed an inexpensive charger. This fit our needs and works perfectly. We've been using it for about 1 month now.

Bought this because the original laptop charger that came with my Lenovo Yoga broke. It's done what it has needed to charge my laptop. It does run extremely hot though.

My original Yoga 2 charger was intermittently failing, and this one looked like the best choice to replace it. It was; the plug fits the laptop and it's an unusual connection. The new charger is smaller and lighter and doesn't run hot, as the old one did. If you have a Yoga 2 this is the one to pick up!
