Heavy Duty Barbell 20 Inch Olympic Dumbbell Handle Pair Solid Steel Two Handles

I am glad I went with these dumbbells, there are a couple cheaper options but the reviews were questionable. I did a weight test first with around 60lb and they felt solid, then bumped it up to 80lb and did some incline flies. Still feeling good, bumped them up to 100lb on each then did some more incline flies. The plates were pretty much filled up at that point already, maybe could get around 125lb max on them, obviously depends on the plates you have and how thin they are. Keep in mind though most people won't want to purchase specific plates for these due to cost, but don't let this steer you away from them.Overall I'm really happy with them, they seem to be able to hold whatever you can load on them like others say. I have not tested long term, but they are very sturdy when new and I think they will hold up fine.

I bought these and a bunch of 10lb plates as an alternative to powerblocks/ironmasters, and so far I'm happy with my choice. One thing to note, is that the actual pair I ordered came with grooves where the plates are loaded, which actually makes the spring collars that come along with the dumbbells very stable. But as I said before, invest in some high quality collars for piece of mind if you're going to be lifting heavy. All in all a bit pricey (titan's version are 75 bucks each, and Rogue's are about 95 bucks each) but everything else is out of stock due to the coronavirus, so for a few extra bucks these were a good purchase.Quick to add/drop weight, versatile, and these plus 150 bucks of 10/5/2.5lb plates equals easy, fast adjusting dumbbells up to 100+ pounds. Absolutely worth the money.

Very glad I went with these 20 inch dumbbells! The knurling is very similar in style and aggressiveness to my Rogue Ohio power bar, with a slightly narrower handle. The ribbing on the sleeves is pretty deep, which I appreciate for a more secure hold by the clamps. They weigh just over 7.5lbs each. One of mine did have a defect but customer service was lightning fast with a resolution. Whipped up a quick stand and now have a great addition to the home gym!

Like a few other people I did not get the handstraps included upon delivery. Maybe I'm due a partial refund??? As far as the barbells, they seem good. The grip is a little smaller than a standard Olympic barbell. I am mainly using them for bent over rows.

these are very expensive for what you get (covid supply and demand) but they do work. it's quite unlikely that the average user will break them. they have too much play in them for my preference but less cranky folks will probably find them suitable. i have no idea what the "range of motion" rating means in the context of this purchase.
