Great product for science labs
The directions were easy to follow and provided me with everything I needed to know to make the petri dishes. The bottle filled 10 -12 dishes for use in my science class. The students are testing the 5 second rule and bacteria is growing in the agar.

Petri dishes made easy
This was perfect for the group I was working with, 16 children 6-10 year. This made it less likely for errors that were possible with a powder. It allowed them to quickly collect specimen and get to observation.

Doesn’t liquefy completely.
Placed in boiling water for an hour and a half (instructions say 30 minutes) and it never would completely liquefy to be poured correctly. Food coloring added for visibility. This agar is junk.
